Abstract: A device including a gas pressure device providing a variable initial pressure (PA), a fluid container providing a fluid for rinsing an eye, the fluid container being connected to a surgical handpiece to deliver the fluid into the eye at an irrigation pressure (PI) predeterminable by the surgeon. The fluid container is connected to a connecting element on a side which is upper in the operating position, and the fluid container communicates with a gas phase container via a mandrel of the connecting element on a lower side of the gas phase container, and the gas phase container and/or the fluid container exhibit(s) a gas phase and the gas phase communicates with the gas pressure device via the connecting element or a fluid container line, and the irrigation pressure (PI) of the surgical handpiece is adjustable via the variable initial pressure (PA) of the gas pressure device.
Abstract: The invention relates to a device (1) for use in surgery to which a surgical implement is connectable in order to conduct surgery on a patient, wherein input means (7) for controlling operating parameters and display means (8) for indicating the operating parameters are provided, wherein the device (1) comprises a first display (9) which is essentially horizontal during operation and a second display (10) which runs obliquely upwards at an installation angle (A), wherein the device (1) exhibits position detection means (18) for detecting contactlessly communicating surgical implements (2, 14, 15) deposited on the first display (9) with regard to their positions on the first display (9).
Abstract: The invention relates to a device (1) for use in eye surgery, comprising a container (9) with fluid (5) which is connected via an irrigation line (12) to a surgical handpiece for delivering the fluid (5) for rinsing an eye (3) on which surgery has been performed, wherein a pillar (8), which in particular is electrically adjustable in its height, is provided for supporting the container (9) and for adjusting the height (H) between the container (9) and the surgical handpiece, and wherein a control for adjusting the height of the pillar (8) is provided in order to deliver the fluid (5) from the surgical handpiece into the eye (3) at an irrigation pressure predetermined by the surgeon, wherein pressurizing means (10) are provided which are designed for charging the fluid (5) to be delivered from the container (9) to the irrigation line (12) with an atmospheric overpressure (PATÜ) and wherein the control for adjusting the desired irrigation pressure is designed both for adjusting the height (H) of the pillar (8)
