Abstract: An adaptor including a hub and a connector, the hub having an exterior surface and an interior surface, the interior surface defining a first cavity; and the connector including: a noose and at least one slider coupled to the noose, the slider being configured to engage the exterior surface such that the noose is received by the first cavity.
Abstract: A vial adaptor comprises first and second housings coupled to each other, a sheath enclosing the first and second housings, and a spike disposed in the first and second housings. The first and second housings form a first chamber therein. The sheath and the first and second housings form therebetween a second chamber in air communication with the first chamber. The second housing is slidable relative to the first housing to cause the spike piercing through a front stopper to establish air and fluid communication with a vial attached to the vial adaptor, meanwhile to vary the volume of the first chamber and press the air into the second chamber. Upon a fluid being drawn from the vial, the air in the first and second chambers enters the vial to compensate the pressure reduction caused by the fluid drawn out to prevent fluid spillage or aerosolizing from the vial.
Abstract: A syringe driving apparatus includes a housing, a driving member disposed in the housing and a resilient member connected to the housing and the driving member. The housing having a front end, a back end and a compartment between the front end and the back end, the compartment is configured to receive a plunger of the syringe therein. The driving member is movable relative to the housing between the front end and the back end. Movement of the driving member towards the back end deforms the resilient member to store potential energy in the resilient member, and upon release of the potential energy, the resilient member moves the driving member towards the front end to press the plunger to expel medicine out of the syringe.
Abstract: An apparatus for delivering fluid from a fluid container comprises a housing to which a fluid container is attachable, a slider movably disposed in the housing and a resilient having a first end connected to the housing and a second end connected to the slider. Upon receiving an external force, the slider moves relative to the housing from a first position toward a second position to deform the resilient member from an original state to a deformed state, and upon release of the external force, the resilient member is allowed to resume to the original state to move the slider toward the first position to urge the slider against the fluid container to deliver fluid from the fluid container under a constant fluid flow rate.
