Abstract: In one aspect, an exterior lighting insect zapper includes a photosensor configured to sense an amount of light for turning on or off an exterior light and an insect zapper coupled to the photosensor. The exterior lighting insect zapper also includes a twist-lock plug compatible with a receptacle of an exterior light for a photosensor unit plug, such that the exterior lighting insect zapper can replace existing photosensors of exterior light fixtures.

Abstract: In one aspect, a retrofit and complimentary light assembly for emitting light can be installed in a ceiling with an existing light fixture as a secondary source to provide UVC emitting light for sterilization purposes or alternative visible light for aesthetic purposes. In yet another embodiment, it can be installed as a standalone light system without an existing light fixture into a ceiling with T-bar supports.

Abstract: In one aspect, a light fixture assembly configured for exterior lighting includes a light fixture. The light fixture includes an LED light source configured for exterior lighting, a driver configured to power the light source and a first electrical connector coupled to the driver. The light fixture also includes a housing to house the LED light source and the driver, where the housing includes an elongated extension on which the first electrical connector resides. The light fixture assembly also includes a neck cuff that fits securely to a light pole. The neck cuff includes a second electrical connector inside that is connected to a power source in the light pole. The extension of the light fixture is configured to be inserted into the neck cuff such that the first electrical connector of the light fixture removably connects to the second electrical connector of the neck cuff.

Abstract: In one aspect, a new light fixture intended to replace an older light fixture includes a light source configured to emit light, a driver configured to control operation of the light source and a body housing the light source and the driver. The body has a back side with two opposing sidewalls angled at least 35 degrees. Stability spacer clips are configured to attach to each corner of the light fixture to help adapt the light fixture to an existing frame in a ceiling including swing frames, T-bar frames and so forth.
