Abstract: Production plant of metal rods, casting machine, casting process and control method of at least three electromagnetic stirrer devices, wherein one provides at least one phase of switching between two operating configurations of the electromagnetic stirrer devices of which a first operating configuration with the generation of a rotating electromagnetic field inducing in the metallic material in the molten state a rotational motion and a second operating configuration with the generation of a linear electromagnetic field inducing in the metallic material in the molten state a linear motion.

Abstract: An electromagnetic stirring device of melted metallic materials inside a cooling chamber of a casting machine having a retaining body of induction coils that is a body composed of at least two reciprocally different portions.
Abstract: A device and method for measuring the surface level and/or the presence of a molten metal bath in a cooled container, particularly a crystallizer for a continuous casting process, comprising a source of an electromagnetic field, wherein said source of an electromagnetic field is a transmission coil fed with electrical energy at a predetermined frequency. The information on the level and/or the presence of said surface level is obtained by processing the total impedance (Z), as measured on said transmission coil, in order to calculate the contribution to said impedance (Z) of the currents induced in the walls of the crystallizer, which depend on temperature of the crystallizer and, from it, the value of said surface level and/or the presence of the molten metal bath.
