Patent number: 10299604Abstract: A massage motor suspension system incorporates a frame which is secured to a planar support. A sling supporting a massage motor is resiliently suspended from the frame. A massage holder clipped to the massage motor engages a bottom surface of a mattress on the planar support through an aperture in the planar support.Type: GrantFiled: September 6, 2016Date of Patent: May 28, 2019Assignee: ERGOMOTION, INC.Inventors: Matthew Fissette, Joseph Ermalovich

Publication number: 20140201915Abstract: A bed frame with a support structure has a rigid structural frame for carrying an articulating structure for an adjustable bed. The support structure extends substantially to the extents of the articulating structure in an unarticulated position and has a padded bolster. The bolster incorporates a mounting support attached to the structural frame and a resilient foam bumper received on the mounting support with a fabric covering surrounding the bumper and fastened to the mounting support. The articulating structure includes rigid planar supports having edges with a surrounding resilient foam layer having a fabric covering secured to the planar support. The bumper and foam layer are resilient to deform upon contact with an intruding appendage inserted between them. For an exemplary embodiment, an electrical outlet is mounted in a housing which penetrates the support frame, mounting support and bumper.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 23, 2014Publication date: July 24, 2014Applicant: ERGOMOTION, INC.Inventor: Joseph Ermalovich

Publication number: 20140201916Abstract: An articulating bed incorporates an actuation system which employs an actuator pivotally attached at a first end to a midpoint of a head end rail of a frame. The actuator has a range of motion from a retracted position to an extended position. A roller assembly is pivotally attached to a central lateral rail in the frame and has a spacer bar. A second end of the actuator is pivotally attached to a midpoint of the spacer bar. The roller assembly further has rollers engaging a lower surface of an upper body support section. The upper body support section is substantially horizontal with the actuator in said retracted position and urged by the rollers for angular rotation about an axis through the range of motion for the actuator to a raised position in the extended position.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 23, 2014Publication date: July 24, 2014Applicant: ERGOMOTION, INC.Inventors: Joseph Ermalovich, Joey Krueger

Publication number: 20120198623Abstract: A mattress retention system for adjustable beds employs a tension web attached to a top surface of an element of an articulating support structure. The tension web is inset from a longitudinal edge and lateral edges of the articulating support structure element and incorporates a first fastener moiety on an extending edge. A mating element is attached to the bottom surface of a mattress adjacent an edge to be restrained. The mating element incorporates a second fastener moiety for operable connection to the first fastener moiety and includes a web section having a first edge attached to the bottom surface of the mattress and a second edge carrying the second fastener moiety for flexibility in attaching the fastener moieties.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 7, 2012Publication date: August 9, 2012Applicant: ERGOMOTION, INC.Inventors: Alain Clenet, Joseph Ermalovich

Patent number: RE49303Abstract: An actuating mechanism for lumbar support in an articulating bed incorporates a support frame for an articulating section having a seat section and an upper body support section. An actuator with a ram is pivotally attached to the upper body support section with a bracket. A lumbar actuation lever is pivotally attached to the ram and extends from a torque tube rotatable in bearing blocks mounted to the upper body support section. A second actuator is pivotally attached to the upper body support section with a second bracket and includes a second ram. At least one angled lifter arm extends from the torque tube and pivotally attaches to at least one lever engaging a lumbar support element through at least one aperture in the upper body support section. An actuator element extends from at least one lever and is connected to the second ram. The actuator element and associated lever rotate about a pivot point on the associated angled lifter arm.Type: GrantFiled: July 16, 2021Date of Patent: November 22, 2022Assignee: ERGOMOTION, INCInventors: Peng Liu, Joey Krueger, Matthew Fissette, Joseph Ermalovich
