Abstract: Paging system comprising a call transmitter, at least one portable paging receiver and a control transmission system with a control transmitter to which a number of transmission loops are connected encompassing essentially adjacent zones. The call transmitter is capable of transmitting a call transmission signal comprising a call address code. On receipt of a cell address code which corresponds to a call address code stored in the paging receiver, the receiver can generate a signal for the user of the receiver by means of a signalling member. The control transmission system is capable of transmitting by means of the loops a control transmission signal comprising a control command. On receipt of a control command by the receiver, the receiver can go into and remain in a state corresponding to the control command, in particular on or off.
Abstract: Remote-control system comprising a main unit and, connected at a distance via a pair of conductors to the main unit, an operating unit which comprises a series circuit of a number of diodes connected between the conductors of the conductor pair, a number of switches connected parallel to one or more of the diodes, and a signalling circuit. The main unit provides signalling corresponding to the certain current. In particular the certain current is determined by the state of the switches.
Abstract: Paging system comprising a transmitter and one or more paging receivers, where said transmitter may transmit a communication comprising a first data block to all receivers. Each receiver comprises a first memory comprising up to five registers for storing therein component data blocks of said first data block, of which a second component representing a receiver address or select code in register, a third component, possibly composed of fifth and sixth subcomponents representing a message code and a message identification code in registers respectively, a fourth component representing a control code in register, and a seventh component representing an alternative message identification code in register 18.
