    Abstract: Existing bicycle carriers block access to the rear door or hatchback of a vehicle when attached to the rear bumper. The present invention provides a bicycle carrier attachable to a vehicle's rear trailer hitch which is pivotable to swing down from a vertical position to a lowered position to permit access to the rear door of the vehicle.
