  • Patent number: 8851478
Abstract: One or more additional “bonus hand” cards that have no playing value are added to the deck of playing cards that is used in a video poker. When a “bonus hand” card appears in the player's initially dealt hand of cards, the player receives a second bonus hand of the initially dealt hand of cards. Alternatively, if the bonus hand card appears as one of the replacement cards during the draw step of video poker, the player is provided with another poker hand. In general, any type of triggering event is provided which awards the player another hand of video poker for no additional charge if the triggering event occurs during the player of the video poker hand.

  • Patent number: 8764014
Abstract: The conventional manner of play of Twenty-One is modified by having the two initial dealer cards comprising the dealer's initial hand dealt to the dealer position before any cards are dealt to any of the player positions. After the two initial dealer cards are dealt, a fifty card depleted deck is established comprising the original fifty-two card standard deck less the two cards dealt to the dealer position. The cards for each player position are then dealt from the fifty card depleted deck. After the player has received his final Twenty-One hand, the dealer's final hand is completed, also using the depleted fifty card deck. Winning and losing hands are determined according to the conventional manner of play of Twenty-One.

  • Patent number: 8651929
Abstract: The game involves playing video poker in a contest between a player and an opponent. The player makes a wager to be eligible to play the game and the player plays an initial hand of video poker against an opponent who plays the same initial hand of video poker. If the player beats the opponent, the player wins an award. If the opponent beats the player, the player loses. If the player and the opponent tie, then any amount in the pot carries over to the next round, a new wager is made by the player to play the next round and the player and the opponent play another hand of video poker. This continues until either the player or the opponent win a round outright. Each of the player and the opponent start with the same initial cards on each hand that is played in any particular round.

  • Patent number: 8550892
Abstract: A pay line multiplier is randomly selected for each active pay line. The pay line multiplier varies for each round of play. An extra wager may be required from the player to activate this feature during the play of a casino game. A player makes a wager to activate at least two pay lines to be played in the casino game. For each active pay line, a multiplier is randomly selected from a group of various multipliers and the selected multiplier is assigned to the activated pay line. • Patent number: 8376823
Abstract: A plurality of players participate in a primary video poker game. Anytime a player is dealt a natural Three-of-a-Kind, the player's on screen counter will be incremented by one unit. Whenever any player achieves an on screen counter that has reached three units (meaning that player has experienced three dealt Three-of-a-Kinds), then the bonus round occurs, which is three separate stud poker hands. The player who achieved the three Three-of-a-Kinds that triggered the bonus round plays all three of the bonus round hands. Any other player who has a counter of two when the bonus round is triggered, gets two of the bonus round hands, Hand One and Hand Two. Any other player who has a counter of one when the bonus round is triggered, gets one of the bonus round hands, Hand One. Any player whose counter is still at zero does not play in that bonus round.
