Abstract: A process and a blanking mold are described for the production of a ferromagnetic core for electric motors formed by a plurality of segments. The laminations are blanked from a sheet of ferromagnetic material and stacked in an accumulation chamber of the blanking mold, along which they advance until a segment constituted by a stack having a preset number of laminations is formed, which is mechanically connected to an adjacent segment, thereby forming a rectilinear sequence of segments. The segments are hinged to each other with the possibility of mutual rotation to allow the sequence of segments to be brought from the rectilinear condition to a closed circular configuration.
Abstract: The present invention concerns a process and an apparatus for positioning blanks in a tool provided with at least one die, at least one locating device for centring the lamination and at least one stripper element for separating the blank from the locating device. The locating device has an engaging portion having shape and dimensions so as to engage the contour of a centring hole placed inside the profile of the lamination obtained as final product and having the shape of a portion previously blanked.
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a lamination for electro motor rotors that have skew or helical slots by forming at least one boss on a face of the lamination and reducing a thickness of a first portion of the boss. The reduction in thickness may be by carrying out a localized narrowing of the thickness of the first portion and the boss may be manufactured by pressing the lamination. The localized narrowing may be carried out by misalignment of a die relative to a punch within a mould.

Abstract: A centering device for use with a cutting die in a mold. The die is supported by a sleeve, which rotates about the axis of the die. The device comprises at least two cavities formed on the side surface of the sleeve, which are spaced apart along a same circumference, and at least one wedge-like element that is fastened to the mold and can be alternatively engaged in one of said cavities of the sleeve, with a conical coupling, in order to lock the sleeve after a rotation of the same.
