Patents Assigned to Erwin Kampf GmbH & Co. Maschinenfabrik
  • Patent number: 4550882
Abstract: A reel cutting and winding machine for longitudinally cutting a sheet into strips and for winding up the strips on winding cores into separate wound packages. Stationary mounting plates are mounted at either side of the machine, and a cross-member is pivotally mounted between the plates. The cross-member is pivotable into a winding position, a wound package sealing position, and a package depositing position. Lever means is operatively connected to the cross-member and carries the winding core. Carrier levers are pivotably mounted between said plates for movement between a waiting position during the winding process and a second, operating position for cutting the sheets transversely when a roll formation is complete. Adjusting levers are pivotably mounted on said carrier levers means and are adjustable independently of said carrier lever means.

  • Patent number: 4497455
Abstract: A winding machine for longitudinal slit strips, with slides which carry pendulum arms with receivers for winding cores and are movable, on a guide, transversely to the longitudinal slit direction, a driving drum being positioned beneath the guide, which driving shaft is frictionally connectable, with a driving wheel of each slide, and each driving wheel driving the winding core receiver of the specific pendulum arm. The technical problem is in the facility and shortening of the re-tooling to other slitting widths as well as in the adjustment of the winding tension. The driving shaft comprises a continuous peripheral surface. Each driving wheel is provided as a friction wheel which is brought into frictional engagement with the driving shaft. Each driving wheel is coupled via a clutch, preferably an eddy-current clutch with adjustable clutch disk, to a driving shaft.

  • Patent number: 4485983
Abstract: A winding machine with a rewind shaft supported between power-operated roll supporting arms, with a pressure roller cooperating with the rewind shaft, and with a supporting drum for the rewind shaft and/or the roll, respectively. The technical problem of the invention is a simple supporting of the rewind shaft and/or the roll which does not impede the pivoting of the rewind shaft for the change of the roll as well as the pulling out of the rewind shaft from the roll pivoted down. By the superposition of the pivoting motions of roll supporting arms and pivoting levers the supporting drum supports the roll substantially from below for any roll diameter. By the continuation of the pivoting motions of the roll supporting arms as well as of the supporting drum beyond the winding range, supporting drum and roll move away from one another so far that the roll can be placed on a pallet or on a carriage, without the supporting drum being impeding.

  • Patent number: 4461432
Abstract: An unwinding apparatus for webs of material, in particular plastics films (5), comprising an unwinding shaft (2) which is driven by a motor generator (4), a direction-changing guide means (6), the interior of which is under an increased pressure and feeds an air cushion, and a driven direction-changing roller (9). The technical problem lies in suppressing pulsation phenomena when unwinding sensitive plastics films. The angle over which the web of material loops around the direction-changing guide means (6) is greater than 140.degree.. The air pressure in the interior (17) of the direction-changing guide means is at least 3 times the pressure in the air cushion (20). A pressure measuring means (11) is provided for measuring the pressure in the air cushion (20), the output signal of the measuring means being used to regulate the motor generator (4).

  • Patent number: 4211135
Abstract: Cutting width modifying means for a machine for cutting a web of material and having groups of cutting elements of the bottom blade kind for longitudinal cutting of the web wherein the cutting elements are provided as sleeves mounted on a shaft, releasably secured against rotation thereon by keys and axially adjustable by means of externally screw threaded rings mounted in screw threaded portions of the bores of the sleeves and non-rotatably secured on the shaft, retaining means being provided selectively to retain one or more of the sleeves against rotation so that it or they is or are axially adjusted on the shaft upon rotation of the shaft by a servo motor.
