Abstract: A toy for a cat, which comprises a simulated mouse with a simulated cheese face, presents a continuous attraction for a cat because of the movable nature of the simulated mouse which is propelled during operation of the toy to appear in various locations relative to the simulated cheese face.

Abstract: A bone-shaped plastic toy is molded with a tubular central portion and a partial spherical socket on each end of the central portion. The sockets are formed by spring fingers which deflect outwardly to receive and hold a replaceable play ball. Pets, such as dogs, particularly enjoy chewing on balls and can alternately chew on one ball, then the other. A scent can be applied to the toy to enhance its desirability and pet interest. If a ball becomes worn, it can be easily replaced. Pets can play with the entire toy, with the balls removed from the toy or with the toy without the balls, thereby offering a variety of play options for the pet and pet owner.

Abstract: A weighted pet bowl with a minimally small footprint is formed from inner and outer shells stamped from stainless steel sheets. Each shell includes a rim that extends outwardly around the top of the bowl. The rims are crimped together around their outer edges to form a peripheral lip or bead which provides a convenient finger grip for securely gripping the bowl. A flowable material such as sand is provided in an internal cavity defined between the shells to serve as ballast and prevent a pet from tipping over the bowl.

Abstract: An aquarium fountain for the improved circulation in a cascading manner of a fixed quantity of particulate matter such as sand. The fountain includes a housing having a receptacle for containing and receiving the fixed quantity of sand. The housing includes an air lift tube having an inlet end in communication with the particulate matter to be circulated and an outlet end out of which the particulate matter is expelled. The outlet end of the air lift tube extends into an upper chamber of the housing. The upper chamber is configured to have an air pocket located between the outlet end and an air escape opening located in a wall of the housing.

Abstract: A muzzle is arranged to fit over the snout of a dog and includes a pair of straps which are adjustably crossed around the neck area of the dog to secure the muzzle in place. A loop member extends downwardly from the muzzle and includes a ring to which a leash or the like for guiding the head of the dog is attached. An arrangement is thus provided which is useful for a variety of activities involving guiding a dog.

Abstract: A toy or amusement device for pet animals includes an arcuately shaped spring-like wire removably mounted at one end to a suction cup base and extending generally upwardly and sidewardly therefrom. The free end of the wire has a toy removably suspended therefrom. The base is removably mounted to a mounting surface as by suction, and which mounting surface may be a variety of orientations.
