  • Patent number: 12605723
Abstract: A showerhead assembly is provided which includes a conduit, a gear train and oscillating nozzle chamber. The gear train includes a propeller, toothed pinion, and toothed gear. Water flows from the conduit into an internal chamber within the showerhead housing. Specifically, water enters the propeller thereby causing it to rotate, the rotation of which causes the pinion to rotate, and consequently, the toothed gear to revolve. Additionally, a pin seated on the toothed gear rotates, thereby causing the nozzle chamber to oscillate. Further, the chamber's horizontal movement is hindered by one or more shoulder arms. As water exits the toothed gear, it travels through a central channel and into the oscillating nozzle chamber, whereby it expels through the nozzle outlet in a reciprocating spray pattern.

  • Patent number: 12502680
Abstract: A showerhead assembly is provided which includes a housing having a primary conduit, a front cover with one or more nozzles projecting therefrom, and a gear assembly. The front cover and the housing are affixed so as to form a cavity, wherein the gear assembly is assembled therewithin. The primary conduit is in fluid connection with the gear assembly, which is in fluid connection with the one or more nozzles so as to transport water therethrough. Moreover, a portion of the gear assembly is in toothed engagement with the nozzle(s). In this manner, as water enters the gear assembly, its components rotate and ultimately cause the nozzle(s) to rotate. The nozzles are configured to spray a flat, fan shaped spray of water, and can do so as at the same time as they rotate. As such, the showerhead assembly produces a pinwheel-like, massaging spray pattern. The nozzle can rotate synchronistically.

  • Patent number: 12496596
Abstract: A water spraying assembly is provided which includes a fluid conduit, a vortex chamber, an intermediate chamber, and a nozzle chamber. The intermediate chamber has a constricted section which increases the velocity of water that passes through the nozzle chamber. Further, the nozzle has one or more holes which project through the nozzle chamber's sidewall where the intermediate chamber enters into the nozzle chamber. The vortex chamber is positioned between the fluid conduit and the intermediate chamber. The vortex chamber rotates the flow of water around the showerhead's longitudinal axis before the water enters the nozzle's intermediate chamber. This causes the water to swirl within the intermediate chamber and nozzle chamber to increase the effect of air aspirating into water within the showerhead's nozzle.

  • Patent number: 11376614
Abstract: A showerhead assembly is provided which includes an outer housing and inner housing. The inner housing includes a support disk and gear housing disk having two diverter arms and a gear train. The gear train includes a propeller, a coaxial pinion, and a large gear. The outer housing includes the base and a faceplate having nozzle systems connecting to complementary orifices. Water enters the internal housing via a channel where it is further diverted by the diverter arms so as to impinge on the gear train's propeller, causing the gear train's individual components to rotate. Upon the rotation of the large gear, the large gear's slot aligns with a selected orifice whereby water travels through and enters a corresponding nozzle system. This sequence continues, causing water to sequentially spray from individual nozzles in systematic intervals so as to create a strobe-like spray pattern.
