  • Patent number: 10246801
Abstract: A method is provided that includes: weaving one first portion including warp and weft threads intertwined according to the fundamental weave of each portion of woven wall corresponding to this first portion, stopping introduction of weft threads after insertion of a weft thread associated with the positioning of one elongated element having a main axis, the weft thread being intertwined with the warp threads of each portion of woven wall, introducing each elongated element between the warp threads defining with the associated weft thread, the insertion position of this elongated element, and maintaining in position each elongated element and introducing one new weft thread intertwining warp threads of the structure according to the fundamental weave of each wall portion or according to at least one new weave, to resume production of the structure, with each elongated element not being taken in the structure.

  • Patent number: 8950440
Abstract: The loom includes a weaving area (18) into which weft threads are inserted into at least one upper channel and one lower channel, each of these weft threads being inserted between at least two warp threads by at least one weft insertion element: first element for focusing on one of these channels and determining the position of the warp threads relative to the weft thread, and second element for inserting at least one binding thread (16) above, between and below these channels. The loom includes at least one element for gripping the at least one binding thread and element for moving the at least one gripping element out of and into the weaving area (18) so as to place the at least one gripping element in contact with the at least one binding thread and to allow the drawing of the at least one binding thread.

  • Patent number: 8871659
Abstract: A temporary ground covering for displacement on sandy, muddy or boggy ground. The covering includes a woven structure formed of warp and weft. The weave is such that each warp thread interlaces with the weft thread, following approximately half the intersections of the rows and columns of the weave. The warp thread is left in the remaining intersections for each warp thread to obtain at least one simple tight weave area followed by an area of floats. The alternation of the different areas causes contractions of the weft thread creating a significant relief of the obtained fabric. The covering includes flat threads over at least one part of the width of the woven structure on at least one of the surfaces. Each thread is taken, steadily or not, by weft threads placed at the end of the projections of the woven surface structure.

  • Patent number: 8763185
Abstract: A temporary bridge includes two spans, each including at least three bridge elements to be stacked when the bridge is in a first so-called non-deployed position. The bridge elements are pivotably connected to one another, wherein two consecutive bridge elements are connected to one another by at least two linking arms mounted on the same side edge of the bridge elements. Two consecutive linking arms form a regular parallelogram with the two consecutive bridge elements connected by the arms, which can be deformed such that the movement of one bridge element relative to a bridge element immediately below in the stack of a span in the non-deployed position of the bridge causes the circular translation of the bridge element relative to the bridge element of the span immediately below. For at least one of the spans, at least one of the linking arms is shared by three consecutive bridge elements.

  • Publication number: 20140021075
Abstract: A container includes fittings for gripping, handling and securing same, each fitting being placed at a corner of the container in the non-deployed position of the container. In the non-deployed position, the container is formed by: a central case having a longitudinal dimension and a transverse dimension, and two extension blocks connected to the central case, with at least part of the structure of the central case and of the extension blocks being sealed, the length or width of each of the extension blocks being greater than half the longitudinal or transverse dimension of the central case respectively. The extension blocks can move between the non-deployed position, in which the blocks and the central case are placed at least partially on top of one another, and a deployed position in which each block forms a longitudinal or transverse extension of the central case, the deployed assembly forming a floating structure.

  • Patent number: 7752820
Abstract: A fast unfolding two-layer temporary flooring structure consisting of preferably rigid plates (1 to 6), made of a suitable material. The plates (1 to 6) are arranged mutually parallel and cascade-linked by an articulated linking element (B) so that between two consecutive plates, the element (B) is linked to an edge of the other plates, and also preferably in a central zone of the other plate, the elements defining hinge lines between parallel planes with longitudinal or transverse axis of the plates.
