    Abstract: Silver sulfadiazine has been found to be therapeutically useful when administered orally or subcutaneously in doses not exceeding 1,050 mg/kg. It also has been found that radioactive derivatives of silver sulfadiazine localize in tumors, the resultant radiation within the region of the tumor serving to eradicate malignant cells.
