Patents Assigned to EURO HEAT PIPES
  • Patent number: 12173967
Abstract: A heat pipe includes an extruded profile body, with a hollow body closed at the ends, filled with a predefined volume of diphasic working fluid. A plurality of longitudinal channels are included, with each having a section delimited by a bottom formed by one tubular peripheral wall of the profiled body, and laterally by two longitudinal dividers. A circumferential transfer channel, which is arranged transversely to the local axial direction and provides mutual fluid connection between the longitudinal channels, is provided at a position along the longitudinal path and or at an end, where the longitudinal dividers are interrupted, partially or completely, in the area of the circumferential channel, with optional use of a closure ring.

  • Patent number: 11300361
Abstract: A capillary evaporator for a heat transfer system includes a member for picking up heat energy comprising a base (10) and a plurality of projections, each of which extends from the base to a peak (12) and the size of which decreases with increasing distance from the base, and a primary wick (2) made of a porous first material with a front face adjacent to the peak of the projections. The flanks of the projections delimit, with the primary wick, empty spaces that form steam ducts. The flanks of the projections are covered with a thin layer (3) of porous material with the thickest part disposed in contact with the primary wick in the vicinity of the peak of each projection, and the thickness of the thin layer decreases with increasing distance from the primary wick.

  • Patent number: 10352623
Abstract: A heat transfer system includes a main circuit forming a fluid loop, the main circuit being devoid of mechanical or capillary pumping means, at least one evaporator unit arranged in bypass to the main circuit, and at least one cooling heat exchanger that includes a portion of the loop main circuit and a heat exchanger coupled to a heat sink, for dissipating thermal energy. The evaporator unit includes an inlet pipe collecting liquid fluid from the main loop, an evaporator including a porous member with capillary pumping coupled to a heat source to be cooled, and an outlet pipe having an ejection nozzle with injects the fluid in primarily vapor phase into the main circuit at least in the loop direction of flow.

  • Patent number: 10295269
Abstract: A flat heat pipe with a two-phase liquid-vapor working fluid, includes a first plate receiving thermal energy from a heat source, a second plate transferring thermal energy to a cold source, an edge to form a hermetically sealed enclosed internal space, a capillary structure interposed between the first and second plates, vaporization channels adjacent to the first plate, condensation channels adjacent to the second plate, a transfer passage placing the evaporation channels in communication with the condensation channels for the transport of vapor, and a collection channel forming a reservoir, in fluid communication with each condensation channel. The collection channel is adjacent to the second plate, such that the collection channel can pump and store the excess liquid phase.

  • Patent number: 10234213
Abstract: A heat transport device with a diphasic working fluid contained in a general closed circuit, includes an evaporator having a microporous body suitable for providing capillary pumping of liquid phase fluid; a condenser; a tank having an inner space, with a liquid portion and a gas portion; and an inlet/outlet arranged at the liquid portion, wherein the volume of the liquid portion can vary between a minimum volume and a maximum volume. The gas portion of the tank contains the vapor phase of the working fluid, at a first partial pressure, and a noncondensable auxiliary gas at a second partial pressure, wherein the second partial pressure is greater than the first partial pressure, at least when the liquid portion is at the minimum volume thereof.

  • Patent number: 10209008
Abstract: A two-phase heat transfer device that is capillary-driven or gravity-driven, has a two-phase working fluid contained in a closed general circuit, including an evaporator, a condenser, a reservoir having an inner volume with a liquid portion and a gas portion, a first vapor communication circuit, and a second liquid phase communication circuit. The reservoir comprises a plurality of floating bodies separating the liquid portion from the gas portion, by means of which the heat exchanges between the liquid portion and the gas portion are slowed down, which allows to diminish the effect of movement of the liquid portion or of an influx of cold or warm liquid into the reservoir.
