Patents Assigned to Euro-Matic Ltd.
  • Patent number: 5588986
Abstract: A method for the design and performance of a process such as scrubbing, stripping, heat transfer from one stream to another, and removal of particulate constituents from a gas stream.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 27, 1994
Date of Patent: December 31, 1996
Assignees: Euro-Matic Ltd., VAW Aluminium AG
Inventors: Howard P. Davis, Wolfram Ruff
  • Patent number: 5320887
Abstract: Play pen balls which are blow molded from polyethylene have improved properties through being formed of a mix of linear low density polyethylene and low density polyethylene. The ratio by weight of linear low density to low density polyethylene is preferably in the region of 30%.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 4, 1993
Date of Patent: June 14, 1994
    Assignee: Euro-matic Ltd.
Inventors: Howard Moss, Johan G. Modigh
  • Patent number: 5038504
Abstract: A hollow molded article such as a ball of the kind used in play areas where children jump on and swim through a volume of the balls. During molding, date coding is impressed on the balls in a way which enables the older balls to be identified and replaced when necessary. The date coding is provided in two ways, one is to provide an adjustable pin within a part of the mold cavity, and the other is to provide indicia whose positions can be changed by rotation of the air venting plug within the mold.

  • Patent number: RE35594
Abstract: A method for treating a gas stream to remove heat, gaseous, liquid or particulate matter, or add heat, vapor, or moisture, which includes the steps of:providing a tower having a bed with fluidizable hollow ellipsoidal packing with a long semi-axis and a short semi-axis;introducing a liquid stream into the tower at a liquid flow rate L, and countercurrently introducing the gas stream into the tower at a gas flow rate G sufficient to maintain the bed in a fluidized state and a gas velocity v; andadjusting the volume ratio of the liquid flow to gas flow to cause the ellipsoidal packing to circulate predominantly in the vertical direction relative to the long semi-axis and to maintain a pressure gradient .DELTA.P/H.sub.o across the depth of the fluidized bed of at least about 1500 Pa/m, and, simultaneously, to satisfy the equation:L/G=K.sub.1 (.DELTA.P/H.sub.o v)+K.sub.2wherein L/G is the volume ratio of liquid to gas; .DELTA.P is the pressure drop across the bed; H.sub.
