    Abstract: A floatable blanket formed of a water-proof outer layer and a plurality of intermediate layers inside the water-proof outer layer, the intermediate layers being made of foamed polyethylene and separated into two groups with an air chamber defined between, air vents being made through the bottom of the water-proof outer layer for allowing air to be induced into the air chamber, loops being aligned on the outside of the water-proof outer layer for allowing the blanket to be arranged into a ring for use as a life buoy.
