Abstract: A microphone transmitter has a microcontroller that operates in a high gain mode when the portable housing is in a horizontal position or in a low gain mode when the portable housing is in a vertical position. In another implementation, the microcontroller operates in one of the following modes: (1) operate the microphone at a low microphone gain when the portable housing is in a vertical position and when voice activity is detected; (2) operate the microphone at a lower microphone gain when the portable housing is in a vertical position and when no voice activity is detected; (3) operate the microphone at a high microphone gain when the portable housing is in a horizontal position and when no voice activity is detected; or (4) operate the microphone at a higher microphone gain when the portable housing is in a horizontal position and when voice activity is detected.

Abstract: Provided herein are noctilucent bang snaps capable of producing flashing light when thrown into the air after a short duration of light absorption and staying luminous for 30 minutes when scattered on the ground after falling and explosion, in order to provide the effects of nighttime visibility and ornament. A preparation method of the noctilucent bang snap is also provided that has the advantages of operational simplicity, technical stability, easy availability of raw materials, product excellence, and extremely high commercial value.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to automatically altering a displayed user interface for an event. A server computer system may cause, via a conferencing service, display of a user interface for an event having a group of users accessing the conferencing service via a plurality of user devices, the displayed interface including an indication of a video feed of a user in the group of users that is currently active. The system may store, in a database, data for the event, including content of audio and video feeds of users in the event. The system may analyze a set of characteristics included in the content of the audio and video feeds. The system may alter, while the indication of the video feed of the user is being displayed, aspects of the displayed user interface other than the indication, where the altering is performed based on the analyzing.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for automatically executing scripts for event in response to user activity within the event. A server executing a video conferencing service, receives meeting scheduling information and a set of user-specified scripting information from a user requesting to generate an event. In response to receiving a request from user device to access the event, the server causes display of an event interface to the device, the displayed interface including indications of sub-groups of a group of users accessing the conferencing service via a plurality of user devices and an indication of a video feed of a user in the group of users that is currently active. In response to one or more triggers corresponding to the event, one or more scripts are executed for the event, where executing the one or more scripts includes altering the displayed interface.

A plurality of listening apparatuses receive the audio signals and process the audio signals for listening within the listening apparatuses, wherein each transmitter is designated an identifier to facilitate selection and connection to one or more listening apparatuses with the desired transmitter simultaneously.

Abstract: A system for enhanced therapy optimization in connection with multisensory wellness in light and sound comprising a database storing a library of sounds and a processor in communication with the database. The system generates a sound healing methodology and a light healing methodology based on a determined condition of a patient, and provides the patient with a therapy program of light and sound by synching a generated sound scape and a generated light scape. The system receives, in response to the provided therapy program, feedback from the patient in real time and changes the provided therapy program based on the received feedback from the patient in real time.

Abstract: A charging case for a plurality of headsets is disclosed. Each headset includes two headphone units connected together in opposing relationship along a diametric axis by a headband. Each headset contains a battery and a charge receiving circuit coupled to the battery. The charging case comprises a portable, cylindrically shaped carrying case and a charging station contained in the carrying case. The charging station includes a plurality of charging receptacles and a charge distribution circuit. The charging receptacles are disposed in a circular pattern about a center area and are configured to support the headsets, respectively, in an orientation where the diametric axes of the headsets are positioned radially in the circular pattern. The distribution circuit distributes electricity to the charging receptacles. At each receptacle electricity is transferred to the charge receiving circuit of a headset when the headset is in the receptacle, to charge the battery of the headset.

Abstract: Embodiments of a method for efficiently and effectively facilitating introductions between individuals who can help each other professionally include promoting an event in a locally focused medium that appeals to business leaders, requiring advance registration, charging a fee, and limiting attendance. A list of expected attendees can be available for review upon arrival, and introductions can be made at the beginning of the event while cocktails are served. A guest speaker can makes a presentation of general interest, after which each attendee is required to briefly tell the group who they are, and what they are specifically seeking. Each attendee must also make a special offer that is only valid until the next event. Time is then provided for attendees to approach each other individually. In embodiments, attendees must provide to the host summaries of their presentations, which are circulated to all attendees after the event.

Abstract: A multiple stage pyrotechnic shell apparatus is disclosed. The invention has enhanced efficiency to increase lift and reduce the risk of one or more of the charges from exploding near the ground. The enhanced efficiency is obtained through the novel use of shaped breaks that conform to the shape of the inner surface of the shell's launch tube, and in particular through the use of cylindrically shaped breaks in round launch tubes. In addition, the present invention further enhances efficiency by configuring the breaks such that all the breaks weigh the same or the upper breaks weigh more than the lower breaks in the launch tube.

Abstract: A launching device for launching multiple aerial fireworks in succession from the launching device has a tubular member having a wall defining an internal perimeter sized and shaped to receive conventional aerial fireworks shells. A unitary base is mountable to the tubular member to thereby support the tubular member in an upright use position on a support surface. The base includes a lower portion of appropriate size and shape to support the tubular member in a stable upright position; and a protrusion extends from the lower portion. The protrusion has an outer perimeter corresponding in size and shape to the inner perimeter of the tubular member to thereby permit snug insertion of the protrusion into the tubular member to secure it to the base.
