Abstract: A method is described for performing suprachoroidal buckling in an eye of a subject. A sharp needle distal tip of a device is used to partially penetrate at a penetration point into a sclera of the eye, not completely through the sclera. An elongated tissue separator is moved distally within the needle lumen such that the separator distal tip moves distally to the sharp needle distal tip and penetrates into a choroid of the eye and forms a suprachoroidal passage in the choroid. The device is used to inject a fluid into the suprachoroidal passage. The fluid includes a therapeutic composition including viscous agents to achieve suprachoroidal buckling, including a short term buckling effect or a long term buckling effect.
Abstract: Provided is a device for injection into an interlayer of an organ of a subject. The device includes a needle having a size transitional portion terminating in a sharp needle distal tip. The device also includes an elongated tissue separator that is shiftable in the needle lumen. An actuator shifts the tissue separator in the needle lumen between a first position, in which the separator distal tip is fixedly positioned proximally to the needle distal tip, and a second position in which the separator distal tip is fixedly positioned a predetermined distance distally from the needle distal tip.
Abstract: A kit includes an injector (1) including a substance syringe, which includes a plunger (3) that slides in a lumen of a barrel (4) which is coupled to a lumen of a needle (5), a fixation tool (10), and a coupling assembly (60) that includes a fixation-tool force transfer device (62) coupled to the fixation tool (10). The fixation-tool force transfer device (62) is coupled to the plunger (4) of the injector (1) such that actuation of the fixation-tool force transfer device (61) moves the plunger (4) of the injector (!).

Abstract: A surgical fixation tool (10) includes at least one fixation member (12) which protrudes from a leg (16) of a proximal grasping portion (20). The at least one fixation member (12) includes a needle (28) with a sharp distal tip (29). The needle (28) protrudes distally from a support structure (30) that includes one or more sloped support surfaces (34, 36) that are sloped with respect to a needle shaft (27).
Abstract: The present invention discloses a device suitable for delivery of a fluid composition to an eye, especially therapeutic compositions, comprising: a hollow needle with a bore having a proximal end and a distal end, said distal end configured to pass into a passage in a sclera of an eye, said bore configured to function as a conduit for a fluid from said proximal end to said distal end, and a solid separator having a distal tip, configured to move inside said bore of said hollow needle allowing said distal tip of said separator to protrude from said distal end of said needle.
