Abstract: A replacement cartridge for a safety razor includes a dispensing head and a reservoir for a flowable shaving aid material. A removable shield is between the reservoir and the dispensing head and the shield interrupts fluid communication between channels of the reservoir and the dispensing head when the shield is in place. Fluid communication is permitted when the shield is removed. Removal of the shield is a onetime event. The shield can be a thermoplastic film. A razor cartridge can be disposed adjacent the dispensing head and the housing of the razor cartridge can be integrally formed with the housing of the dispensing head.
Abstract: A tampon for feminine hygiene, having an insertion end, a recovery end, a recovery tape, and a longitudinal axis. The tampon is made of compressed fibrous material and has an outer surface that is at least partially provided with spirally shaped, pressed longitudinal grooves. The grooves define spirally shaped longitudinal ribs. Also disclosed is a method for producing the tampon.
Abstract: A wrapped sanitary product comprises a wrapper and a sanitary product that provides for discreet storage and removal of a sanitary product, and/or discreet placement of a soiled sanitary product into a vacated wrapper to be discreetly disposed thereafter. The wrapper is formed such that an interior space is created to store a sanitary product. The wrapper has a storage configuration, and accessible configuration, and a second storage configuration. The wrapper has a port that provides access to the interior space and the sanitary product therein. The wrapper has a flap that can comprise a sticker or a tab, or both. The flap is sealed to the wrapper in a storage configuration, is at least partially removable from the wrapper in an accessible configuration, and is reclosable to the wrapper in a second storage configuration.

Abstract: A novel three-component synergistic preservative system has zinc oxide, a phenoxyethanol component, and caprylyl glycol. The preservative system provides sufficient preservative activity without the use of other preservatives such as parabens. It provides broad spectrum activity against yeast and molds, and remains effective long term.

Abstract: A battery charging method includes generating a plurality of charge profiles, each for a different one of a plurality of batteries, wherein a charge profile indicates a charge current as a function of charge time, and at least two of the charge profiles have a different charge current at a same charge time, and concurrently charging each of the plurality of batteries based on a corresponding charge profile.
Abstract: A nipple simulating the shape, surface geometry and function of a woman's breast is provided. The nipple has a stem and a base. The base has an areola region and a bulbous region. The areola region is positioned between the stem and the bulbous. region, and can simulate the areola of a woman's breast. The bulbous region can simulate the region of a woman's breast surrounding the areola. The areola region has a texture or surface geometry that is different from the texture or surface geometry of the stem or bulbous region.

Abstract: A tampon has two pledgets or one pledget with an absorbent layer and a leak shield located therebetween. The pledgets or pledget with the absorbent layer and the leak shield are folded such that the leak shield covers a portion of the surface of at least one of the pledgets. Both pledgets or the one pledget with the absorbent layer have absorbencies that are each greater than an absorbency of the leak shield. In another embodiment of the tampon, the leak shield comprises a fluid impervious or fluid repellent material(s). In another embodiment of the tampon, the leak shield comprises of an absorbent or hydrophilic material. Yet in another embodiment, the leak shield comprises of multiple layers of materials that are hydrophilic, hydrophobic, or a combination thereof.

Abstract: A merchandiser rack comprising a rear storage module having a storage area including at least one shelf and at least two display modules. The display modules have shelves, with at least a portion of the rear of the display modules having shelves being open to allow stocking of the shelves from the rear. The display modules are pivotally connected to the rear storage module to allow the display modules to be rotated relative to the rear storage module between an open position and a closed position. The open position allows access to the rear of the display modules. The merchandiser rack, when in the closed position, has an outside periphery, and the display modules are not accessible through the rear of the display modules from the outside periphery along any horizontal line.

Abstract: A packaged product and methods for manufacturing the same are provided. The packaged product includes a non-aerosol container and a shaving aid composition. The container includes a pocket. The shaving aid composition is in the form of a post-foaming gel and is stored within the pocket. The container is impermeable to the shaving aid composition during a useful life of the container. The shaving aid composition has a temperature dependent characteristic that enables the shaving aid composition to be stored within the pocket at temperatures below 48° C. without causing a volume of the shaving aid composition to significantly increase during the useful life of the container. The shaving aid composition can be stored within the pocket at temperatures below 48° C. without causing the volume of the shaving aid composition to increase to a magnitude such that the pocket is inadvertently opened during the useful life of the container.
Abstract: Provided is a tampon applicator having one or more insertion indicators to gauge and/or control the insertion depth of a tampon. The one or more insertion indicators may be located on the tampon applicator barrel, plunger, tampon, removal string, or any combinations thereof. As a result of the one or more insertion indicators, a woman can adjust the insertion depth of the tampon to her body's requirements ensuring leakage protection, comfort, or both.
