Abstract: A kitchen knife device designed to cut food includes a handle and a blade connected to an end of the handle. The blade has two opposite lateral surfaces, on each of which a plurality of recesses is formed and arranged side-by-side in a row. The recesses formed on the two lateral surfaces of the blade are symmetrical in position. Due to air existing in the recesses, food being cut with the kitchen knife device does not easily stick to the lateral surfaces of the blade, and a user needs not to take time to separate the split food from the lateral surfaces of the blade, making the cutting more efficiently.
