Abstract: A bushing shield is used primarily but not exclusively in a commercial kitchen fire suppression system where pipes and EMT (electric metallic tube) carry detection line cables from a fusible link to a detection control. The bushing shield includes a guide bushing and a vapor barrier. The bushing shield minimizes grease vapors and foreign contaminant migration into a pipe or EMT of the commercial kitchen fire suppression system by forming a barrier, while simultaneously allowing the detection line cable to slide back and forth as intended by the fire suppression system manufacturer.

Abstract: A belt and buckle combination including a flexible belt and a dual ring fastener comprising a pair of G-shaped rings each having a closed ring portion and an open ring portion. The belt includes a loop at one end that extends through the closed ring portions of the rings and an opposite free end that is threadable through the open ring portions of the rings to fasten the belt ends together. To unfasten the belt ends, the free belt end is slid through openings in the open ring portions without having to reverse the threading pattern of the belt through the rings.
Abstract: A fire suppression fitting for mounting a conduit extending through an opening in a supporting surface. The fitting includes a main body with threaded ends and a longitudinally disposed bore. The conduit is slideably received through the bore. The fitting further includes a gasket, a lock washer and an anchoring nut. The anchoring nut secures the main body on the supporting surface and the gasket in sealing engagement around the supporting surface opening. The coupling further includes a compression nut and a compression gasket, the compression nut selectively urges the compression gasket into sealing fire impeding relation around the conduit.
