Patent number: 12151151Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to an adjustable-incline climbing wall. The climbing wall comprises a climbing surface and a system for adjusting the climbing surface to a desired incline. By positioning the pivot point for the climbing surface in front of the bottom edge of the climbing surface, embodiments of the climbing wall minimize or eliminate the unusable “dead space” at the bottom of the climbing surface that is created when conventional adjustable climbing walls are placed at higher angles of incline. Moreover, by angling the legs of the support structure outward, embodiments of the climbing wall provide for an extended fall area that is free from obstructions, providing enhanced climber safety. Finally, embodiments of the climbing wall are freestanding structures, which are easily installable in a climber's home or personal gym without damage to floors or walls.Type: GrantFiled: June 30, 2023Date of Patent: November 26, 2024Assignee: EVERLAST CLIMBING INDUSTRIES, INC.Inventors: Joseph Sweeney, Timothy Sudeith, Sarah Mae Howard, Benjamin Tiffin

Patent number: 12115645Abstract: A bicycle repair stand having a main body extending vertically from a base that is mounted to a ground surface and which includes first and second bicycle hangers extending from the main body in opposing directions. An access opening extends through the main body and cables suspend a set of bicycle tools within the access opening, such that each bicycle tool is accessible in opposing directions for use on a bicycle held by either one of the first or second bicycle hanger. The first and second bicycle hangers may also be positioned at different heights to avoid interference between two bicycles during use.Type: GrantFiled: November 15, 2022Date of Patent: October 15, 2024Assignee: EVERLAST CLIMBING INDUSTRIES, INC.Inventors: Joel Greenblatt, Sarah Mae Howard, Timothy Shaun Sudeith, Colin Klotzbach

Patent number: 11955744Abstract: Various embodiments provide a stackable deformable electrical connector system including a plug body and a connector body each having at least one of studs and jacks with angled and/or misaligned axes. A deformation of one or more of a plug body, studs, jacks, and a connector body or another stackable connector is created when plugging together the angled studs and jacks. The deformation creates resultant forces between the studs and jacks for electrical contact. The connectors may integrate deformable bars in the connector body, locking features and features to ensure polarity. The studs and jacks may be solid metal corrosive-resistant parts, such as titanium, Hastelloy, or Inconel.Type: GrantFiled: September 9, 2020Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: Everlast Climbing Industries, Inc.Inventors: Vwodek Bednarski, Christian Stockinger

Patent number: 11920575Abstract: A pump for inflating tires with air is provided. The pump includes a body having a base and a top portion and a cutout configured to receive a tire of a bicycle. The base is configured to be anchored to the ground. The pump includes a handle assembly including a piston rod and a handle bar. The pump includes a tube positioned in the body and secured to at least one plate in the body. The tube slidably receives the piston rod and is connected to an air line. The pump includes a hose connected to the air line and extending from the body. The hose has a head configured to engage a nozzle of the tire. When the piston rod is moved downward within the tube, air is displaced from the tube and through the air line to the hose such that the head dispenses air.Type: GrantFiled: August 24, 2022Date of Patent: March 5, 2024Assignee: Everlast Climbing Industries, Inc.Inventor: Joel Greenblatt

Patent number: 11833402Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to an adjustable-incline climbing wall. The climbing wall comprises one or more climbing panels supported by a frame and a system for adjusting the incline of the frame to provide a climbing wall of a desired incline. The incline of the climbing wall may be adjusted by activating an actuator, which extends the upper portion of the frame a distance from a support wall, tilting the climbing wall to a desired incline. When the climbing wall is substantially vertically oriented, the system for adjusting the incline of the climbing wall may extend only a small distance from the support wall so that the adjustable-incline climbing wall has a relatively small footprint. In some embodiments, the climbing wall may also include one or more fitness accessories that can brought to an optimal height for a particular user through adjustment of the climbing wall incline.Type: GrantFiled: October 14, 2021Date of Patent: December 5, 2023Assignee: EVERLAST CLIMBING INDUSTRIES, INC.Inventors: Timothy Shawn Sudeith, Sarah Mae Howard, Benjamin Tiffin, Joel Greenblatt, Joseph Sweeney, Aaron Jon Baumgartner, Justin Lee

Patent number: 11525262Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to climbing wall assemblies having a variety of improvements. For instance, the climbing wall assemblies may include connectors to attach the surface panels to the framework, in which the connectors may be mounted substantially anywhere along the front of the framework and at substantially any angle, providing for the securement of climbing panels in various geometries. The climbing wall assemblies may also include braces that may easily be adjusted to a desired length and configuration during construction of a climbing wall. The climbing wall assemblies may also include variable-angle, integral front posts, which provide for the easy and stable securement of climbing panels in various geometries. These improvements provide climbing wall assemblies that may be easily assembled to produce a desirable climbing wall structure having few framework components.Type: GrantFiled: April 23, 2020Date of Patent: December 13, 2022Assignee: EVERLAST CLIMBING INDUSTRIES, INC.Inventors: Timothy Shawn Sudeith, Sarah Mae Howard, Joel Greenblatt, Joseph Sweeney

Patent number: 11452924Abstract: The present invention is directed to a climbing wall comprising one or more expandable climbing panels. The expandable climbing panel may be configured so that changing the angle of a portion of the climbing wall in one direction causes the climbing panel to expand, such that the panel provides an increased climbing surface area, and changing the angle of the portion of the climbing wall in the other direction causes the climbing panel to contract, such that the panel provides a reduced climbing surface area. By hingedly attaching the expandable climbing panel to first and second wall portions, at least one of which is adjustable to a plurality of angles, a climbing wall that can be brought into a variety of different configurations, e.g. at the touch of a button, is produced.Type: GrantFiled: February 4, 2021Date of Patent: September 27, 2022Assignee: EVERLAST CLIMBING INDUSTRIES, INC.Inventors: Timothy S. Patent number: 11370501Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a bicycle parking structure comprising a plurality of bicycle hangers supported by a crossbar assembly. Each bicycle hanger is configured to support a bicycle in a substantially vertical position. The bicycle hangers are spaced apart from one another along the length of the crossbar assembly. Each of the bicycle hangers may be secured to the crossbar assembly so that the bicycle hanger is fixed at a desired position or unsecured from the crossbar assembly so that the position of the bicycle hanger along the length of the crossbar assembly may be adjusted. In this manner, the distance between adjacent bicycles need not be fixed and the bicycle parking structure can be adapted for a particular space. The bicycle parking structure is designed to provide for a space-efficient, high-volume parking of bicycles.Type: GrantFiled: October 9, 2020Date of Patent: June 28, 2022Assignee: EVERLAST CLIMBING INDUSTRIES, INC.Inventors: Joel Greenblatt, Andrew Kennedy Lageson
