Abstract: Conversation graphing capabilities accommodate subsets of conversations to be examined or reviewed. An “others” node is included in a conversation graph displayed through a user interface representing, in one implementation, all conversations not shown on the graph. Individual nodes and/or edges can be selected regardless of whether they are adjacent or connected. Information related to the communications associated with the selected nodes and/or edges is displayed. Nodes associated with communications falling within a selected time range is included and emphasized in the conversation graph. Directionality (i.e., direction of majority of communications) and/or proportionality (i.e., fraction of communications flowing in one direction along an edge verses the opposite direction) is provided through a visual indication for individual edges in the conversation graph.

Abstract: Providing overlapping time range redactions in media items like digital videos is disclosed without loss of information about the individual redactions therein. For example, a platform receives a set of redactions associated with a media item where at least some of the redactions overlap. A process is performed to determine a set of non-overlapping time ranges based on the set of redactions, where the redaction information is associated with individual non-overlapping time ranges. The correct redaction information from the corresponding overlapping time ranges will be applied to the non-overlapping time range redaction. This single non-overlapping redaction is stored as a single unit and has the advantage of requiring less storage space and processing power than multiple overlapping redactions, while retaining, in one implementation, all of the corresponding redaction information (e.g., labels) of the original correspondence overlapping redactions.

Abstract: Document difference viewing and navigation are disclosed that enables automatic comparison and easy viewing of the difference between many documents (e.g., four or more, dozens, hundreds, or thousands of documents) for, for example, document review processes. The system receives and reads a set of documents containing text. The system identifies shared text and differences by location within the shared text among different documents in the set of documents. It sorts the documents in the set of documents into groups of different text variation versions and generates a shared difference document. The shared difference document is displayed in a first panel of a user interface and displays shared text as static text and areas of difference in highlighted regions. When a user selects of a given area of difference, the text variations and a list of documents containing one or more corresponding text variations are displayed in a second panel.

Abstract: Various aspects of the subject technology relate to systems, methods, and machine-readable media for outputting overlapping graphical objects via a graphical user interface. Various aspects can include determining a plurality of shapes as a subset of a set of shapes associated with the graphical objects. Aspects can also include determining intersections of the plurality of shapes based on a maximum shape dimension (e.g., height) and based on assigned weights to each of the set of shapes. Aspects can include determining a visibility parameter of each shape of the plurality of shapes based on whether each shape intersects with one or more other shapes. Aspects can include providing instructions to display the graphical user interface at a viewport parameter according to the visibility parameter and instructions to output labels of the graphical objects bounded by the set of shapes based on the viewport parameter.

Emails are grouped into smaller related groups, as opposed to one large group, so that the groups are processed serially or in parallel to save processing power and time. Each email message group is handled in an independent job, which is distributable among any number of servers. A bipartite graph of email messages and message identifiers (such as subject line, recipient address, etc.) is created and used to determine connected sub-groups within the graph and, ultimately, which messages are connected to each other as part of an email thread. The sub-groups are processed independently for efficiency.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and storage media for generating a polygon representation of a plurality of data points are disclosed. Exemplary implementations can: receive a representation of data points from a data source, the representation comprising at least a two-dimensional (2D) data plot; calculate a core representation of the data points; dilate the core representation of the data points, comprising multiplying each data point by a multiple of an epsilon distance; generate dilated points based on the multiplying of each data point; generate a polygon representation of the data points based at least in part on intersections between the dilated points; and cause display of the polygon representation through a user interface.
