Abstract: The present invention concerns a card-flipping device intended to be fixed to a printer, said device including card-driving means for transferring cards from the printer to the inside of this flipping device, and to hold them in position in this flipping device, to flip them and to transfer them once flipped from the inside of this flipping device to the printer, wherein the drive means are movable so as to enable the printer, in order to manipulate a card during a processing operation performed by said printer, to use a space inside the device that is occupied by the drive means when they transfer a card from or to the printer.
Abstract: A thermal transfer dyesheet comprising a substrate bearing a region of a thermally transferable dye, the region including a first printable portion within the region having a first optical density, a second printable portion within the region having a second optical density, the difference in optical density between the first and second optical densities being detectable by a detection means on a dyesheet printer, and a third printable portion within the region having an optical density substantially the same as that of the first printable portion is provided, together with a method for manufacture of the dyesheet and an associated printer.

Abstract: The present invention concerns a device (DISP) for treating at least one surface of an object, having a first input (E1) for receiving objects (OBJ1) coming from a loader (CHRG) intended to contain a plurality of such objects, and including at least one operating chain having an input intended to receive objects from the first input (E1) of the device (DISP). The device according to the invention has a second input (E2) for receiving objects (OBJ2) supplied individually by a user of the device (DISP), each operating chain being capable of receiving objects (OBJ2) inserted through said second input (E2). The invention makes it possible to perform in series or one at a time several different types of surface treatment, by means of a device which can furthermore be implemented in a more compact form than the known devices.
