    Abstract: A motion decoy having a body and wings in the form of a waterfowl provides a realistic biaxial wing beat motion. The wing beat motion simultaneously includes a flapping action and a rotation action. The flapping action can sweep through an obtuse angle, while at the same time the rotating action that changes the angle of incidence of the wings at different angular positions. The compound biaxial wing beat motion better replicates the motion of live waterfowl, especially during the “lighting” phase of flight.
