  • Patent number: 10557598
Abstract: A luminaire has three or more substantially rigid legs each having an upper end and a lower end. The three or more legs are arranged in a frustum shape forming a central area. The upper ends of the three or more legs at least partially converge and are fixed with respect to each other. The luminaire includes a first lamp fixed to the top ends of the three or more legs and operable to emit light in a substantially upward direction, and a second lamp fixed to the top ends of the three or more legs and operable to emit light in a substantially downward direction. Additionally, the luminaire includes three or more suspension members each having an end that is removably secured to a respective leg. Each of the three or more suspension members have individually adjustable lengths and are configured to maintain a suspended planter.

  • Publication number: 20170059138
Abstract: A snap-on shade nut for securing a portion of a lamp shade to a lamp holder assembly includes a ring-shaped portion and at least one clip. The ring-shaped nut has an aperture sized to receive a threaded lamp holder, and a threaded portion on an inner surface within the aperture such that the threaded portion extends through the aperture. The clip or clips extend outward from a periphery of the ring-shaped nut in a direction perpendicular to an axis of the threaded portion so that a base portion of a lamp shade can be snapped onto the clip and be retained by the clip. The snap-on shade nut may be pre-attached to a lamp holder at manufacturing time or other time prior to sale to the consumer.

  • Patent number: 9182093
Abstract: A ceiling lamp consists of one or more LEDs supported by a housing that fits within a hemispherical framework that may be installed in a ceiling. The LED housing comprises a hemispherical heat sink that may be movably retained within the framework and may be rotated 360 degrees in the horizontal plane and downwardly in the vertical plane. The frame has one or more upwardly extending legs rigidly attached to a ceiling trim and that hold a circular ring positioned above the heat sink. An adjustment screw passes through a concave disc above the ring, and extends through the ring where it is attached to the hemispherical heat sink.

  • Patent number: 8766556
Abstract: A remotely controllable track lighting system includes a track with lamps supported on the track that are individually controlled by a wireless remote. Each lamp may be set to different intensity levels (e.g., high, mid, low, off) or to the same intensity level. All lamps may be set, upon initially turning on the lamps or at another time, to previously set intensity levels. The track system may also be powered via a wall switch where initially turning on the lamps via the wall switch causes all of the lamps to return to their previously set intensity levels or the user can move the wall switch off then on within a short period of time (e.g., 3 seconds) to cause all of the lamps to be set high.
