Abstract: A medical device for performing ileostomies and/or jejunostomies, includes a tubular element defining a transit channel having a plurality of entry openings for the faeces, insertable inside the intestine of a patient, and an exit opening for the faeces, positionable outside the intestine. The tubular element includes a first section having the entry openings and a second section having the exit opening. First obstruction means is associated with the tubular element, insertable inside the intestine, and movable between tight and widened configurations. The entry openings are positioned upstream of the first obstruction means, the latter being placed between the first and the second sections. External retention means cooperate with the patient's body to block the position of the first obstruction means with respect to the body itself. Stiffening means are integrally associated with one another at respective extremities and prevent the first section from bending.

Abstract: A device for the treatment of esophageal stenoses, including at least a body of elongated shape intended to be inserted within the esophagus of a patient, and a tubular sheath mounted around said body to define an interspace between said body and the tubular sheath, wherein it includes a stiffening element accommodated in said interspace and including a plurality of ribs which extend along said interspace.

Abstract: A fastening clip device comprising arms of different length pivoted together about a transverse pin on one and the other side thereof, and elastic means which maintain two facing portions of said arms spaced apart, one end of one of said arms being bent substantially to U-shape to retain the end of the other arm against the action of said elastic means, characterized in that the arm of smaller length comprises two apertures positioned on one and the other side of the pin about which the two arms are pivoted, and by comprising a flexible puller which passes through said apertures, extends between the pin and the arm of greater length, and is fixed to the curved portion of said arm.

Abstract: The device for massaging a lower leg comprises a base pad (2) arranged in an area of the sole and a bladder (1) arranged in the region of the lower leg. A tubular connection is provided between the inner spaces of the base pad (2) and of the bladder (1). A frame (8) comprising a base part (12) and at least one side part (13, 7) projects upward from the tubular connection. The frame is mountable inside a shoe with the bladder (1) being fastened to the side part and the bladder (1) being positioned on the frame (8) in such a manner that it comes to lie above the perforating vein in the ankle area. A pressure is exerted by the bladder (1) onto the leg through the body weight applied to the base pad (2) when the foot is loaded.

Abstract: Described herein is an engine/pump of a pneumatic type, having a stator with radial cylinders, within which there can slide respective pistons, each carrying a roller that engages an annular cam carried by a rotor. A guide system forces each piston to move, maintaining its axis rigorously aligned with the axis of the respective cylinder. The propulsion system that uses said engine includes high-pressure, medium-pressure and low-pressure tanks, and an auxiliary engine, which controls one or more compressors. A motor vehicle which uses the aforesaid system presents innovative peculiarities as regards construction and location of the tanks of pressurized air or gas, which are filled with spongy material, and also as regards construction of the accelerator and brake controls.

Abstract: Self-standing bag, including a sack (1) of flexible material and a supporting structure for the sack (1). Said supporting structure for the sack (1) includes two stiffening members (4) of substantially rectangular shape, secured at opposite sides of the lateral wall of the sack (1) by means of at least two fastenings, one close to the bottom of the sack (1) and the other close to its top opening (2). A cover (7) consisting of a substantially tubular fabric member, preferably figured, is secured to the lateral wall of the sack (1) close to said top opening (2).
