Abstract: A production method for producing molded articles from fiber composites, superparamagnetic particles are selected which become coupled to an external alternating magnetic field. These superparamagnetic particles are added to a resin portion of a strip-shaped starting material further comprising reinforcing fibers. The strip-shaped starting material is then continuously advanced, and, while being advanced, heated by coupling-in an external alternating magnetic field to which the superparamagnetic particles in the resin portion become coupled. Next, the heated starting material is continuously molded into a molded article; and the resin portion in the molded particle is cured.

Abstract: The present invention relates to membranes and to a process for making them. The membranes according to the invention comprise a sheetlike flexible substrate having a multiplicity of openings and having a coating on and in said substrate, the material of said substrate being selected from nonwovens of polymeric fibers, said nonwovens having a porosity of more than 50% and said coating being a porous ceramic coating, said substrate preferably being from 10 to 200 ?m in thickness. Such membranes provide a distinctly higher flux than conventional membranes. The membranes are useful as separators for batteries or as a microfiltration membrane.

Abstract: A method for modification of a methane-containing gas stream, comprising the steps of: i) withdrawal of at least one substream from a methane-containing gas stream; ii) treatment of the substream with an electrically generated plasma, generating a modified gas composition which comprises a lower fraction of methane than the methane-containing gas stream used and iii) return of modified gas composition into the methane-containing gas stream. This method makes possible the storage of excess power in a natural gas line grid.

Abstract: Process for recovering molybdate or tungstate from an aqueous solution, in which molybdate or tungstate is bound to a water-insoluble, cationized inorganic carrier material from the aqueous solution at a pH in the range from 2 to 6, the laden carrier material is separated off and the bound molybdate or tungstate is liberated once again into aqueous solution at a pH in the range from 6 to 14. The process is suitable for recovering molybdate or tungstate in the delignification of pulp with hydrogen peroxide in the presence of molybdate or tungstate as catalyst. The recovered molybdate or tungstate can be recycled to the delignification.
