    Abstract: An electronically commutated DC motor has a stator wound with a multi-phase stator winding, a permanent magnet rotor mounted rotatably about a motor axis, a circuit board, a guide plate electrically connected to the winding and a housing component. In one implementation, a DC motor can easily be manufactured with the fewest possible process steps, which exhibits a short axial length and a low weight as well as good heat-dissipation properties. It is also an object of the invention to create a DC motor with integrated electronics, whose motor interior can be filled with oil, and which holds the electronics sealed against this oil. For reasons of logistics, an attempt is also made for partial components, such as the electronics, to be designed such that they are capable of complete prior assembly and testing.

    Abstract: This method facilitates the cost effective treatment of liquid and solid waste in a landfill or composting facility. The ability to distribute the oxygen to the waste and remove the spent waste is the key to the process. The process can digest a megafill or treat massive green waste pile. Waste moisture content is increased, eliminating fires and removing a major constraining factor to degradation. Large quantities of liquid are oxygen-supplemented (therefore treated) and are added directly into the MSW or compost to maintain aerobic degradation. Oxygen is the limiting factor; water is the distribution method. Temperature increases with the availability of oxygen. The bacteria break down the solid and liquid waste. The material is available for cover or agricultural uses. Facility space is reused, odors are minimized, and environmental risk is minimized. Leachate is treated to the needs of the facility, which can be anywhere between total treatment and pretreatment.

    Abstract: A system for water treatment includes the steps of superchlorinating the water to a level sufficient to destroy bacterial content in the water very rapidly, passing the water through a sand filter in which the medium includes beads of magnesium hydroxide and subjecting different portions of the filtered water to differing degrees of filtration by an activated charcoal filter, whereby to remove a sufficient proportion of the chlorine added to the water to reduce the residual chlorine to a level sufficient to maintain the water sterile without substantially influencing the taste of the water. Preferably, the sand and charcoal filters are disposed horizontally, and the depths of the filter beds are graded horizontally to provide the differing degrees of filtration to the water.
