  • Patent number: 7100661
Abstract: The awning topper assembly is designed to be mounted on the interior side of a window. The assembly includes two curtain support rods of conventional design, each having a front and spaced, parallel sides. A valance is provided having upper and lower channels, each adapted to receive one of the support rods. Plastic extenders are provided for each side of the rod in the lower channel. Each extender engages a different side of the lower support rod, so as to retain the front of lower portion of the valance a greater distance from the plane of the window than the front of upper portion of the valance and thus provide an awning like appearance.

  • Patent number: 6546571
Abstract: The header is heat sealed along the top of one side of the liner body with both ends extending beyond the edges of the liner body. The ends of the header are folded around the edges of the liner body to a position parallel to the other side of the liner and heat sealed. • Patent number: 6543629
Abstract: The cover mounts over the end of a tension rod of the type which is used to mount window curtains or the like between opposing surfaces of a window recess. The cover is provided in mating parts which are assembled and joined together. The edges of the parts are provided with aligned pairs of protrusions and recesses adapted to frictionally engage to join the parts. Some of the protrusions are bifurcated with a circumferential flange for more positive engagement. To make the cover compatible with a smaller diameter rod, a split ring adapter collar can be situated between the rod and the neck of the cover.

  • Patent number: 6530120
Abstract: The hook has a molded plastic body including a rod engaging part formed of arcuate sections with roller bearing receiving cavities. Means for joining the sections are provided. The hook is assembled by placing the roller bearings in the cavities in one of the sections. The sections are then aligned and joined together. The hook body also includes a curtain receiving part, integral with one of the rod engaging part sections. The curtain receiving part includes oppositely inclined portions. The portions meet at a point along the vertical axis of the hook.

  • Patent number: 6317904
Abstract: A plurality of fasteners are arranged along opposite edges of the shower curtain. Each fastener includes a mounting strip with a body portion which carries a pair of integral suction cups. The strip is heat sealed to the curtain material. In particular, a peripheral edge, thinner than the body portion, is formed during the heat sealing process. A passage or opening through the body portion acts as a guide during the heat sealing process and permits air trapped during sealing or water trapped during use to escape from behind the mounting strip.
