Abstract: The invention belongs to the field of agricultural spot-spraying using an agricultural machine. The invention relates to a spot-spraying system. According to the invention, the spraying system comprises: # a plurality of spraying sections arranged to spray the treatment product onto areas of a plot: # an optical head comprising a camera generating a sequence of images at acquisition times (tacq) and a light source emitting a beam of light in the direction of the plot with a variable light intensity: # a spraying control unit configured to process the images of the sequence at processing times (ttrait) and to control the spraying sections individually according to the image processing; and # a light control unit arranged to determine the light intensity of the light beam to be emitted by the light source at each processing time (ttrait), said light intensity being determined according to an image of the sequence of images taken at an acquisition time preceding the processing time in question.

Abstract: This manual and localized weeding apparatus (1) comprises a heat generator (4) which is attached to a rod (2). The heat generator (4) comprises a fan and a heating resistor projecting a hot air jet (J1) into an inner volume (V5) of a bell (5) provided with a free edge (551) for supporting the apparatus (1) on the ground. According to the invention, the bell (5) is provided with at least one hole for discharging an air jet (J2) from the inner volume (V5) of the bell (5). The hole is separated from the free edge (551) by a distance of more than 2 cm.

Abstract: This apparatus for manual and localized spraying, the apparatus comprising a tubular reservoir (1) suitable for receiving a plant treatment liquid, a gripping knob (3) mounted on one end of the reservoir, a spray assembly (5) mounted in fluid communication on the other end of the reservoir and comprising spray means (27) and tip means (51) enabling said spray assembly (5) to be pressed against the ground, and vent means for venting said reservoir. The apparatus is remarkable in that said vent means comprise a valve (13) that is actuated merely by a user gripping said knob (3), the valve being movable between a closed position preventing communication between said reservoir (1) and the outside, and an open position allowing said communication, resilient means (17) being provided for urging said valve (13) towards its closed position.

Abstract: A gun for spraying a product such as paint supplied under constant pressure to the gun, includes a structure for the pulsed spraying of the product that includes a nozzle and an oscillating membrane associated with an intermittent closure device for supplying the product toward the nozzle. A control for the pulsed spray structure of the product is provided. A closure mechanism with a plunger is secured to the membrane and passes through the membrane to be connected to the control.

Abstract: An improved sliding member for a regulator assembly has a slide body providing a substantially spherical working contact surface and attachment means extending from the slide body for mounting the sliding member to another member of the regulator assembly. The slide body can be substantially mushroom-shaped, having a cap portion and a hub portion, wherein the cap portion forms the substantially spherical working contact surface and includes a substantially curvo-annular flange coaxially surrounding the hub portion. The attachment means can be provided as an attachment stud having a head portion embedded in the slide body, preferably extending coaxially through the hub portion. One or more flexure gaps can be provided in the curvo-annular flange to provide improved compressive fit of the sliding member within a guide channel. A regulator assembly incorporating the sliding member can provide such guide channel as a tube channel in an elongate guide member.

Abstract: An improved vehicle ventilating window assembly which includes a non-circular pivot rod fitted within a circular opening in the window frame. A washer having spaced projections thereon is provided to fill the spaces created within the opening when the rod is inserted, thereby allowing a snug fit of the window within the frame with little or no transverse movement of the window with respect to the frame.
