Abstract: An anti-off socket includes a socket body defining therein an insertion space for receiving a blade of a plug, a locking mechanism including an elastic latch that has a positioning segment affixed to the socket body and an abutting segment extended from the positioning segment and inserted into the insertion space for allowing insertion of a blade of a plug into the insertion space and stopping the inserted blade from backward displace relative to the socket body after the inserted blade entered the insertion space, and a release mechanism including a release member mounted in the socket body and operable to release the elastic latch from the inserted blade of the plug for allowing removal of the plug from the socket body.

Abstract: An electric connector includes a connector body having conducting blades (or blade-insertion slots) located on the front side for the connection of a mating female (or male) electric connector and a plurality of tubular posts embedded in the back side, and a deplugging assistant device having a finger plate and shanks extended from the finger plate and respectively slidably coupled to the tubular posts of the connector body and movable relative to the tubular posts between a received position and an extended position. When the deplugging assistant device is in the extended position, the user can pull the finger plate to disconnect the electric connector from the mating female (or male) electric connector safely with less effort, avoiding an electric shock accident.

The top cover comprises a plate body, several through holes on the plate body, a pillar extending from one surface of the plate body, a protrudent part extending from one surface of the plate body, and a second positioning ear extending from the outer edge of the plate body.

Abstract: A snap fastener for the electrical socket comprises a housing, a receptacle and snap fastener. When the knob of the snap fastener is being turned, the downward hump of the knob will drive the bulge of the brake plate to rotate and finally fall into the bottom recess of the brake plate and the fork of the brake plate will move downward to clamp the electrical blades of the plug in place. When the knob is turned in the reverse direction, the bulge of the snap will rise from the recess and push upward the fork of the brake plate, so the electrical blades of the plug get loose and are easy to leave the socket. Or a screw shank is used instead of the snap to move down or up the brake plate by turning the knob only.

Abstract: A novel electrical connector structure is disclosed. The electrical connector includes a socket portion for receiving therein an electrical plug, a conductive terminal for clamping a metal pin of the electrical plug in the socket portion, and a wrapping portion for securing and protecting the conductive terminal in the socket portion. By designing the shape of the conductive terminal to be relatively narrow in front and relatively wide in rear, and modifying the opening shape of the socket portion accordingly, the conductive terminal can be smoothly inserted into the socket portion so as to allow the electrical connector to be easily assembled. Furthermore, the socket portion can be integrally formed because the conductive terminal is combined with the socket portion by direct insertion operation rather than conventional placing and covering operations.
