Abstract: An adjustable joint for use with a microphone is provided that includes a ball and a stem connected to the ball. The ball is located within a ball housing that defines a slot that has a length that extends along a portion of a front side and an end of the ball housing. The maximum width of the slot at the end of the ball housing is different than the maximum width of the slot at the front side of the ball housing. The adjustable joint allows for reorientation of an attached microphone.

Abstract: A bag construction has a sheet of material in the form of a flattened tube having front and back panels defining sides and where the tube has an open end. There is a line of weakness proceeding from the open end of the bag through the front and back panels. The line of weakness is located substantially centrally with respect to the sides of the bag and sized so that when the line of weakness is torn, two opposing lengths of material are formed. The lengths sized to allow the tying of a knot thereby, so as to substantially seal the open end of the bag.

Steam and ozinated water can also be used for stripping and disinfecting portions of the dispenser that can be accessed by the public. The system also uses detectors including hall detectors and a camera to inspect for blockage of valve ports, tampering or improper operation of the rotary valve disc.

The lower and upper blades are separated by a partition. One blade section of the upper blade has a top sheered portion and the other blade section has a bottom sheered portion. One blade section of the lower blade has a top sheered portion along with a blade tip pointed downwards, while the other blade section has a bottom sheered portion along with a blade tip pointed upwards.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided for accurately dispensing a powder such as powdered infant formula into a container, and pasteurizing and reconstituting the powdered formula while completely mixing the formula in the container. The apparatus includes a hopper assembly for storing powder, a dosing assembly for measuring and dispensing powder from a receptacle into the container, a dilution assembly and a mixing assembly for obtaining accurately and completely mixed formula from the dispensed powder. The hopper is shaped to promote powder bridging, and the resulting powder bridge is used in combination with the dosing assembly to provide a predetermined amount of powder using a single mechanical valve that is isolated from the powder. The mixing assembly mixes the contents of the container while holding the bottle at a fixed angle relative to the vertical. A method of providing pasteurized infant formula from an infant formula powder is also disclosed.

In one embodiment, the system lessens risks for lenders and makes relationships with dealers safer and easier to administer. In one embodiment, a dealer may utilize the system to manage its inventory, obtain and manage credit history information about potential customers, help customers apply for credit, transact credit applications and credit approvals with various lenders, submit applications to multiple lenders, select from among the accepting lenders, and manage forms used to complete a transaction.

Abstract: Systems and methods for recording and reporting data collected from a remote location are disclosed. A work order, defining infrastructure to be inspected at a remote site and including an inspection plan for collecting inspection information, is generated on a first computer system and transferred to a portable computing system. Inspection data is collected pursuant to the inspection plan on the portable computing system. A global positioning system (GPS) receiver associated with the portable computing system provides location information related to inspected infrastructure during the inspection. After collection, inspection data is transferred from the portable computing system to the first and/or to a second computing system for storage and the generation of related reports. The location information obtained during the inspection can be used to determine dimensional measurements of the infrastructure and to generate visual depictions of infrastructure components and defects.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer program that assist consumers in quickly locating items in a store without requiring dedicated electronics equipment and without requiring the store to map the precise location of every item in the store. One exemplary method includes receiving at a host computer location information representative of locations of a plurality of items in a store; providing at least some of the location information to a mobile communications device operated by a consumer to enable the consumer to locate at least some of the items in the store; receiving from the mobile communications device corrected location information for at least one item in the store; and updating the location information in the host computer to account for the corrected location information.
