Abstract: An image/information display system and method based on temporal psychovisual modulation in the technical field of image/video processing and electro-optical display. The system includes a high speed display device and an auxiliary viewing device cooperating with each other and interacting with a human visual system. The auxiliary viewing device realizes the temporal amplitude modulation of the composition basic sequence by a method of controlling the light intensity transfer rate from the display plane of the high speed display device to the human eye.
