Frame members comprising wire pieces (2, 3) framing upper and lower rims of the lenses (1) form outside each of said peripheral lens edges two wire end pieces (2a, 3a) for connection with said first hinge member (6), whereas each temple member (4) comprises two interconnected wire pieces (4a, 4b) extending side by side to provide a cross-sectional profile of the temple member substantially in shape of the digit 8.
