Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus for managing promotions are disclosed. An example method includes receiving in a server an indication of a sale of a promotional item from a sales terminal, the promotional item being specified by a promoter for a promotional competition to be carried out by a group of sales associates, the indication including an identifier of a sales associate who sold the promotional item, determining a quantity of the promotional items sold based on the received indication and a previous quantity of the promotional items sold by the sales associate, determining relationships among the group of sales associates based on the quantity of promotional items sold by the sales associates, and sending to a computer system of the promoter information indicative of the quantity of promotional items sold respectively by the sales associates and information indicative of the determined relationship among the group of sales associates.
