  • Patent number: 5749126
Abstract: A carding flat and a system for guiding and driving it in a card with moving flats driven by toothed belts, in which coupling between the flats and belts is achieved by a form fit between cavities and projections without fixed retention means, so enabling these elements to freely rotate about the coupling axis.

  • Patent number: 5745956
Abstract: A device for monitoring and regulating the tension in the sliver produced by a carding unit and transferred from this along a path to a unit for its collection into cans for further processing, comprising a deviator bar pivoted on a pivot and an oppositely located rod provided with an element which opposes the rotary movement of the bar deriving from the variations in tension of the sliver deviated by it, the sliver tension being measured by sensors on the basis of the effect induced by the sliver on the bar, the relative signals being transmitted to the control unit which compares the values received with the allowable limiting values and implements the consequent interventions.

  • Patent number: 5745955
Abstract: A sliding flat formed from section bars for a card with moving flats driven by toothed drive belts, with upper return guides for the flats. The flats are provided in their ends with pins for cylindrical coupling with the toothed belts, said coupling pins projecting from the toothed belt such that it is they which rest on the return guides instead of the teeth of the toothed belt.

  • Patent number: 4280321
Abstract: A device is disclosed, as an attachment to a spinning, or a doubling frame, for stopping the rotation of the spindle and the sliver feed whenever a sliver or a thread breaks and for giving, at the same time, a warning signal (e.g. a luminous signal) to a watching operator. The device comprises a thread feeling whisker connected to a circuit which controls electromagnetic clutches connected to the spindle, and the spindle braking and stopping mechanism is connected by a flexible cable to a sliver-pinching press so that as soon as the spindle is being braked and stopped the sliver is pinched and sliver feed is discontinued. The electric circuit also comprises an indicator lamp.

  • Patent number: 4256202
Abstract: For improving the lubrication of the rotary rings in spinning and twisting frames, a device is provided which is composed by an annular oil reservoir formed in the ring carrier immediately below the stator body, the bottom edge of the rotor body projecting into the oil reservoir and being at a distance from the inner wall of the reservoir so as to form an air passage through which atmospherical air can be drawn into the reservoir when the ring is rapidly rotated: an atomization of the oil is thus originated and the airborne oil particles may reach all the points to be lubricated.

  • Patent number: 4255925
Abstract: The scaffolding intended for supporting the entire structure of a spinning frame or a like machine is made of individual intermediate sections which are united to a header and a tail section and are serially connected to each other in the intermediate portion of the machine. Each section is composed by two spaced apart shell-like sidewalls connected together by tubular longitudinally extending members. The sections are united by bolting them together so that the tubular members form conduits for removing linters and like airborne materials sucked by an exhauster. Sound-absorbing slabs are inserted between every two adjoining section sidewalls to diminish the noise level.

  • Patent number: 4133073
Abstract: A cleaning device is disclosed for the scraper blades of a clearing roller in a spinning machine such as a card, the improvement consisting in that there is a cleaning element for each of such blades, the cleaning element resting on such blade, control means being also provided for impressing a reciprocation to said cleaning elements in sliding contact with the blades, suction means being provided in front of the roller and blade ends.

  • Patent number: 4087699
Abstract: In a textile machine of the kind which processes a material in the form of a web or a gauze, a circuit for checking the continuity of said web or gauze, said circuit being branched off from the circuit which feeds the machine proper and ending in two terminals between which the web or gauze is caused to run, so that, when no web or gauze is interposed between said terminals, the branched off circuit is closed and electromagnetic means enter action to stop the machine.

  • Patent number: 3946956
Abstract: A control device for the winding of yarn onto a cop and particularly for an actuator controlling the relative motions between the cop being wound and winding means, said actuator periodically reversing its motion, wherein said actuator is linked either to support means bearing two linearly extended and adjustable stop means or to a control member therefor, whereby said actuator is controlled to reverse its motion by the alternated engagement of the control member with said stop means, whereby the point of engagement of the stop means with the control member is adjustably controlled; and in particular which enables variously wound cops to be formed without requiring the replacement of parts.

  • Patent number: 3936997
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for taking up the thread in textile machines in which the tow or yarn travels from the drawing system to the wind-up unit through a closed conduit, either at the start of the spinning or after a breakage of the thread, comprising a bell shaped member, connected at its base to an aspiration unit through a flexible tube, and an electrically conductive spring lodged in the bell member so as to protrude beyond the mouth thereof, the spring being electrically connected to the aspiration unit, so that the aspiration action is started upon the spring contacting metallic parts, like the outlet of the thread to be fed to the drawing system.
