  • Patent number: 5662499
Abstract: An electrical terminal strip for potential multiplication includes an insulating terminal housing having a plurality of openings arranged in a row. A comb yoke extends in a direction of the row, and is located within the terminal housing. At least one terminal contact row is located in the insulating terminal housing, and includes a plurality of contact connections disposed side by side in the direction of the row. Each contact connection includes a conductor terminal element having a receiving space therein. Each receiving space is in registration With a respective terminal housing opening, and extends in a direction approximately perpendicular to the direction of the row. The receiving spaces receive respective protective conductors inserted from an outside of the terminal housing and through the respective terminal housing opening. Each contact connection further includes a conductor protecting element inserted into the respective receiving space.

  • Patent number: 5421749
Abstract: A screwless spring clip for use with a bus bar, includes a binding clip for holding a conductor to the bus bar, the binding clip having a transverse opening, and a large opening through which the bus bar and the conductor extend, such that when the binding clip is tensioned against the bus bar, the bus bar is in contact with the conductor; and a leaf spring for tensioning the binding clip against the bus bar, the leaf spring being connected to the bus bar and being connectable in a tensioned state to the binding clip by a control element such that the leaf spring is locked to the binding clip in the tensioned state, the leaf spring having one leg secured to the bus bar and an opposite free leg adapted to be hooked into the transverse opening of the binding clip.

  • Patent number: 4842361
Abstract: A connection clamp for fiber optic light guides to receive and to hold a fiber optic light guide while forming a frontal surface in a defined position in the plane of an exit opening, with a guide housing that contains a cutting edge at some distance from the exit opening, and with a use housing that can be moved therein between a mounting position and a use position of the fiber optic light guide, and with a through recess for the fiber optic light guide. The box-shaped guide housing has a guide channel, which surrounds the use housing that is constructed as a cuboid sliding block with a through hole. The cutting edge lies in the side wall of the guide channel, which contains the exit opening. A longitudinal slot for the fiber optic light guide is provided in the side wall of the guide channel, which lies opposite to the exit opening. The use housing can be moved between the mounting position and the use position by means of an adjustment screw in the guide channel.
