Abstract: The rewinding machine for the production of rolls of weblike material comprises: a winding-up system (1, 3, 5) for winding up the weblike material on winding-up mandrels (M), and an extractor (23) for separating the mandrels from the respective rolls formed thereon. A device for washing the mandrels is also provided.
Abstract: A peripheral winding machine for the production of rolls of wound web material is described, comprising a feed path for the web material (N), winding means (1, 3, 5) for winding said web material into rolls (L), and a zone for interruption of the web material along said feed path and upstream of said winding means, characterized in that it comprises applicator members (7B) for applying a moistening product to said web material upstream from said winding means and downstream from said interruption zone.
Abstract: The severing machine comprises at least a first series of disk-shaped blades (23A; 23B) rotating about their own axis, which series is carried by a moveable support (21) capable of bringing the series of blades alternately into an active zone wherein the cutting of the products takes place and a parking zone. In addition, at least one barrier (41, 43) is provided separating the active zone from the parking zone.

Abstract: A surface rewinding machine for the production of rolls of wound web material is described. The machine comprises: a winding cradle (1, 3, 5) for winding the web material and sequentially forming rolls (R) of wound web material; an insertion device (25) for inserting sequentially, into said winding cradle, winding spindles (M1; M) on which the rolls are formed; an insertion path for the spindles inside the winding cradle. Abstract: An embossing and laminating device which includes a pair of embossing cylinders having tips arranged symmetrically on the two cylinders; a pair of pressure rollers, each of which works in conjunction with one of the embossing cylinders; a glue applicator associated with one of the two embossing cylinders; and a laminating roller positioned downstream of the nip between the embossing cylinders and working in conjunction with the embossing cylinder which is associated with the glue applicator. Abstract: The rewinding machine comprises: an insertion device (11) for sequentially inserting winding spindles (M) into a winding area; winding means (1, 3, 5) in said winding area, which wind predetermined quantities of web material onto said spindles; an extractor (25) for extracting said spindles from the rolls of web material formed on them; and a recirculation path (71) for returning the spindles extra from said rolls toward said insertion device. The spindles are made in two portions which can be connected and disconnected; the extractor extracts each of said two portions from a corresponding end of the corresponding wound roll. Means are also provided for reconnecting said two portions to each other so that said spindles can be reinserted into said winding area.

Abstract: A device for gluing the tail end of a reel of wound web material including conveying means for moving the reel, unwinding means for unwinding the tail end of the web material, a dispenser of glue for applying the glue to the reel, and means for rewinding the tail end after the glue has been applied. The dispenser includes an upwardly oriented aperture from which the glue is dispensed and includes a container for the glue with the upwardly oriented aperture and a moving member positioned inside the container which is immersed in the glue contained in the container and moved towards the upwardly oriented aperture in order to dispense the glue to the reel as it rolls over the aperture.
Abstract: A device for separating from each other packs or groups of flat articles including a channel for the advance of the articles and, associated with the channel, a plurality of separating fingers which are movable along a closed path is described. On each side of the advance channel at least one pair of guides, placed one above the other and having substantially equal extensions, is provided to form the closed path. Pairs of sliders are disposed along the guides, and each slider carries at least one corresponding separating finger. A phase displacement means, which temporarily moves the first slider away from the second slider of each pair to move one pack of articles away from a following pack, is disposed at the end of the forward portion.
Abstract: A storage unit for the temporary storage of rolls, arranged between a first section and a second section of a production line, is described which includes an endless flexible member defining a closed path within the storage unit and bearing a plurality of seats for the rolls, the seats being subdivided into a first group of empty seats and a second group of full seats; an input feeder for controlled distribution of rolls arriving from the first section to the seats of the first group; an output feeder for controlled discharge of rolls from the seats of the second group toward the second section; a first motor for advancing the seats of the first group toward the input feeder and; a second motor for advancing the seats of the second group toward the output feeder. The first and second motors have first and second independently adjustable continuous speeds, respectively. Further, the first and second motors move the flexible member at a continuous but variable speed.
Abstract: An apparatus for glueing the tail or outer end of a web of material which has been formed into a log which comprises: device (9, 13) for unwinding the tail from the log (R); applicator (45) for applying glue to the log; tail rolls (97, 99) for re-winding the tail back on the log and glueing the tail to the log; and conveyor (23, 41) for transferring said log. The applicator for applying the glue includes a dispenser device (55-63) provided with a nozzle (61) forming at least one upwardly oriented slit (63) from which the glue is dispensed by overflowing; the log (R) conveyor (23, 41) discharges the log, with the tail (L) being unwound from it, above the glue dispenser, causing it to roll over said slit (63) for the application of the glue to the log.
