    Abstract: New 1-phenylmethyl enzimidazole piperazine derivatives of general formula ##STR1## are described wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 can be a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a short chain alkyl group, a nitro group, and a hydroxy group, and their addition salts with pharmaceutically acceptable acids.These compounds have pharmacological activity as serotonin 5HT.sub.3 receptor antagonists.
