Abstract: An arrowhead assembly is provided in which the blades are readily removed manually, and are easily replaced. The arrowhead is effective in use, and is produced with desirable levels of facility and economy. A core member is fitted within a longitudinal slot formed in each of two interlocked, crossed delta-shaped blades. Each blade has an outwardly directed tang at the rear thereof on each side of the slot. A locking ring fits about the core member and has a cruciform shaped aperture in one end thereof. The aperture is aligned with the tangs and the ring is slid forwardly over the tangs against an abutment on the core. When the ring is rotated inwardly projecting portions defining the cruciform aperture overly the tangs and hold the blades on the core.
