Patents Assigned to Fairchild Industrial Products Company
  • Publication number: 20140034155
Abstract: Improved valve seats for pressure regulators, as well as improved pressure regulators, are disclosed. For example, in one disclosed embodiment, a valve seat may comprise a first valve seat surface; a second valve seat surface opposite the first valve seat surface; a compression seal area; and a concentric stress relief groove on the first valve seat surface.

  • Patent number: 7766030
Abstract: A high pressure transducer is disclosed. The transducer includes a supply inlet configured to provide a gas supply to the high pressure transducer at a supply pressure and a pressure divider section coupled to the supply inlet. The pressure divider section is configured to reduce the supply pressure to a reduced pressure as a function of a first predetermined ratio. The transducer also includes a low pressure control section coupled to the pressure divider section and configured to receiving the gas supply at the reduced pressure and an amplifying section coupled to the low pressure control section. The low pressure control section varies the reduced pressure to produce a variable control pressure to actuate the amplifying section in response thereto. The amplifying section is also configured to multiply the variable control pressure as a function of a second ratio to obtain an output pressure.

  • Patent number: 5469877
Abstract: An electric to pneumatic transducer including a transducer housing with a primary converting housing section and a relay housing section. The primary converting housing section contains feedback and control electronics and an electronic feedback sensor that are electrically connected. The feedback and control electronics are adapted to be connected to an electronic signal input. The primary converting housing section also contains a nozzle and associated flapper control for controlling the output from the nozzle and the primary converting housing section also contains a bleed orifice. The relay housing section contains a relay control chamber with a positive bias spring that exerts a force on an upper control diaphragm and an associated lower control diaphragm that are in turn associated with a combined exhaust and supply valve.

  • Patent number: 5074826
Abstract: A variable speed transmission in which the output speed is infinitely adjustable within a given speed range and is accurately controlled. The variable speed transmission includes two pulley assemblies that are rotatably connected by an endless chain, control levers and a control screw for varying the effective pitch radius of at least one of the pulley assemblies and the associated chain. The output from one of the pulley assemblies serves as the elliptical ball bearing assembly input that serves to deform a nonrigid external gear of a flexible gear assembly. The output from the other pulley assembly through gears controls a round rigid internal gear that intermittently meshes with the nonrigid external gear. This arrangement provides extremely accurate speed control of the output from the flexible gear assembly that comes form the nonrigid external gear. The pulley assemblies, the endless chain, control levers, and the flexible gear assembly are located within the same compact hollow unitary housing.
