Patents Assigned to Falcon Products, Inc.
  • Patent number: 6401631
Abstract: A folding table is provided with a foldable leg structure. The legs fold between a first working position and a second stored position. As the legs move towards the stored position, a pair of wheels associated with the legs structure are moved into operative position, enabling the table top to be rolled easily to storage.

  • Patent number: 6003447
Abstract: A folding table (1) with a table top (5) and a pair of breakaway legs (15) supporting the top. A brace member (47) at each end of the table has a leg assembly (7,9) attached thereto. A top supporting beam (11) extends along the table top between the brace members. The support beam is pivotally mounted to the table top. Each leg assembly has a hinge structure (35) near its top end and a foot structure (24) at its bottom end. The hinge (35) allows the leg (15) to break down and fold inwardly against the table top. A pair of leg braces (81,83) are attached to the support beam and are moveable with the beam. Each leg brace is removably attached to a corresponding leg by a locking assembly (87). When the leg braces (81,83) are attached to the leg, they transfer downward force from the table top to the legs at a point below the hinges (35) to keep the legs in the unfolded position. The locking assembly (87) can be disengaged and the leg braces pivoted out of the way to allow the legs to be folded.

  • Patent number: 5533457
Abstract: An adjustable leveling glide assembly for attachment to the foot of a table leg. The glide assembly has a flat, floor engaging glide support positioned under the foot of the table. A threaded stem extends vertically from the support and engages a threaded bore in the foot. An adjusting knob is attached to the upper end of the stem. The adjusting knob is positioned above the foot, preferably recessed in a cavity formed in the top side of the foot. A user can readily manipulate the knob and rotate the stem to draw the support toward the foot or move the support away from the foot and thereby level the table.

  • Patent number: 5354027
Abstract: A mechanism for attaching a tabletop to at least one vertical support that permits movement of the tabletop with respect to the vertical support consisting of a top plate and a bottom plate, the top plate attachable to the tabletop and the bottom plate being attachable to the vertical support. The two plates are connected by a hinge mechanism that allows movement of the top from a horizontal to a vertical position and also allows the top to be removed from the vertical support for storage. The mechanism has easily operated, releasable locking means for holding the top plate to the bottom plate when the tabletop is in a horizontal position.

  • Patent number: 5279233
Abstract: A folding table includes legs which are movable between an open, unfolded position and a closed, folded position. A slide plate, having at least one edge wall, is secured to the underside of the table inwardly of the legs. A strut is pivotally secured at one end to the leg. The free end of the strut has a head formed in it which is slidable along the plate edge wall. A locking pin is mounted to the strut head and is urged against the edge wall of the plate. The wall includes an opening which receives the pin to lock the leg in its unfolded position. The end of the strut head opposite the locking pin includes a grip which is operatively connected to the pin. The table is unlocked by urging the grip inwardly. The grip is formed in two halves to define a clip which frictionally receives the leg to lock the leg in its folded position.
