Alternatively or in addition, a removable bottom bracket shell portion and a removable bottom bracket insert may be provided, to allow convenient access to the interior portions of the down tube and/or seat tube of the frame. A battery pack and/or a battery electronics management unit may be conveniently within one or both of the down tube and the seat tube.
