Abstract: A growing system, which includes: at least one growing space having different locations for plants, a robotic arm provided with at least one tool, and a moving element arranged to move the robotic arm between the different location; an electronic and/or computerized communication element; and a remote control station which is at a distance from the at least one growing space and includes a control element arranged to control the robotic arm in each growing space via the communication element, the control element being arranged to control the moving element so as to move the robotic arm in the growing space between the different locations in the growing space and/or to control actions of the robotic arm in said growing space. Also, a corresponding method utilizing the growing system.
Abstract: A soilless plant-culture system in which the plants are arranged in a support structure having a plurality of closed spaces, such that the roots of each plant are in one of the closed spaces, the system including: a spray head having at least one spray nozzle that includes a piezoelectric sprayer, a supply element of at least one plant nutrient solution, a displacement element arranged to move the spray head between the closed spaces, and a control element arranged to control the at least one nozzle and to control the displacement element so as to move the spray head between the closed spaces. The spray head is arranged to spray the nutrient solution into each closed space over a predetermined duration and with a predetermined frequency.
Abstract: A nutrient dosing system including: a mixing tank for receiving a solvent and at least one nutrient medium; and at least one dosing device, each dosing device being fluidly connected to the mixing tank. Each dosing device includes a nutrient tank for storing a nutrient medium, a reciprocating pump having an inlet port fluidly connected to the corresponding nutrient tank, and an outlet port fluidly connected to the mixing tank, and an actuator configured to actuate the reciprocating pump. The nutrient dosing system also includes a controller configured to, for at least one dosing device, control the respective actuator to cause the corresponding reciprocating pump to: load the nutrient medium from the corresponding nutrient tank; and inject a target amount of nutrient medium into the mixing tank.
