  • Patent number: 6145232
Abstract: A transparent plastic sign holder is designed to fit in C-channels of different heights along the front edges of merchandise display shelves. The sign holder is a plastic sheet with a backwardly folded, downwardly depending, first flap integrally connected to the upper edge of the main body panel of the sign holder, and a backwardly folded, upwardly extending second flap integrally connected to the lower edge of the main body panel. A sign can be slidingly engaged behind the transparent main body panel in the bights formed at the connection with the first and second flaps. The second flap has yet another or third backwardly folded, downwardly depending, flap integrally connected to its upper edge. The first and third flaps each have freely extending lower edge portions and have different heights corresponding to the heights of two different C-channels with which the sign holder is to be used.

  • Patent number: 5683003
Abstract: A molded plastic display device adapted to be removably secured to a generally horizontally extending shelf perpendicularly to the front edge thereof, with a central upstanding label holder, both surfaces of which can be provided with merchandising indicia. A transparent label cover enables the label holder to carry adhesive or non-adhesive labels or signs. A pair spaced hooks are provided below each label-receiving surface to support, in depending fashion, strip merchandisers carrying a multiplicity of products. Depending upon the width of the products being carried by the strip merchandisers, they may be selectively hung from whichever hook is closest to the shelf to minimize projection of the products into the aisle.

  • Patent number: 5682698
Abstract: A plastic sign holder is designed to fit in C-channels of different heights along front edges of respective merchandise display shelves. The holder is a plastic sheet with downwardly folded flaps of different heights at the top and bottom edges. The flaps are adapted to the heights of the respective channels so that the holder can be reversed for selective use in either channel. Either way, one of the flaps fits hook-wise in the respective channel so that the holder depends downwardly to a level below the channel. The other flap forms an upwardly facing pocket at the bottom of the holder and a sign or label can be fitted between the flaps against the back face or the holder.

  • Patent number: 5553721
Abstract: A strip merchandiser made of plastic sheet has W-shaped slits defining central fingers pointing towards one end of the strip for suspending apertured products and outer fingers pointing towards the opposite end of the slip for suspending slotted products. Mounting panels for hanging the strip from a merchandise display shelf are provided at both ends of the strip so that it can be used reversibly depending on the type of products to be displayed thereon.

  • Patent number: 5549054
Abstract: A shelf extender for use on supermarket and like shelves is made from a sheet of plastic which has an adhesive strip or other attachment along a back edge thereof for securing same to the top surface of the shelf with a front portion of the sheet projecting beyond the front edge of the shelf. The front portion of the sheet has fold-down tabs which engage the front edge of the shelf to form cantilever supports or buttresses for the sheet when it is under load. Fold-up strips along the front and sides of the sheet form a surrounding wall for the shelf extender.

  • Patent number: 5261175
Abstract: An elongate produce information display tag for presenting product information at the distal end of a product support hook is useful on both wire-back hooks and plate-back hooks. The tag has a mounting portion with selective apertures by which the tab is engaged on the hook. One of the apertures is associated with a strip of contact adhesive extending across the mounting portion by which the tag can be adhered to the front surface of a back plate of a plate-back hook. The other aperture merges into a keyhole-type slot which can be used to embrace over the depending leg at the back of a hook by which the hook is welded to a back plate or rod-like bracket. The intermediate portion of the tag which extends over the hook has a fold down stabilizing tab which engages the hook and provides lateral stabilization of the tag.

  • Patent number: 5235766
Abstract: A product information and display tag of plastic sheet material for a product support hook of the type having a proximal end bracket with upper and lower prongs which snap fit onto a flat horizontal support bar is herein disclosed. The tag has a mounting portion with a transverse slot which hooks over the upper prong of the bracket before it is fitted to the support bar, so that when the hook is fitted to the bar, the mounting portion is trapped between the bar and the bracket. Adjacent the mounting portion is an elongate portion of the tag which extends over the hook to its distal end and there is a turned-down label holder portion of the tag at the distal end of the hook for product information.

  • Patent number: 5148927
Abstract: A shelf divider is designed for use on a shelf having rows of apertures extending along the front and back of the shelf. The divider is made of plastic sheet with a vertical divider panel and a horizontal attachment panel. A tongue at the front end of the attachment panel is inserted in a selected aperture at the front of the shelf. A perforation in the attachment panel aligned with the tongue is positioned to overlie a corresponding aperture at the back of the shelf. To releasably attach the divider to the shelf, a push-in plastic pin is inserted in the perforation and corresponding aperture. The divider is formed with tongues and perforations at both ends to make it reversible.

  • Patent number: 5123189
Abstract: A display tag, of sheet material, for use on a forwardly extending support hook is provided. It has a mounting portion on one end for securing it to the proximal end of a support hook, and an elongate portion adjacent the mounting portion for extending forwardly of the hook to present product information at a distal end of the elongate portion. The tag has one or more flaps or tabs which are die-cut therein and provided with bar receiving cut-outs for receiving a forwardly extending part of a support hook therein. In one embodiment, four tabs are provided on the mounting portion of the tag for receiving mutually perpendicular extending bars of a bi-directional wire rack therein. The bar receiving cut-outs in the tabs are circular or elongate in shape and stabilize the tag in the longitudinal direction on the support hook.
