Abstract: A merchandise dispensing apparatus for deterring theft has at least one merchandise support module which includes a covering defining an interior space within the module. A support member and a dispensing member are mounted to the module, the dispensing member being mounted adjacent to the support member. A lockout device is also mounted to each module and connected to the dispensing member. The lockout device includes a housing with a user input member accessible from outside the housing. The user input member communicates with the dispensing member. A controller, which includes a memory and a processor, electrically communicates with the user input member. A sensor electrically communicates with the controller and senses the dispensing of an associated packaged item mounted on the support member. A signaling device electrically communicates with the controller to provide a notification upon the dispensing of the associated packaged item.

Abstract: A product divider assembly includes a rail and a divider. The rail includes a front surface having a plurality of first teeth and a rear surface formed on an opposite side of the rail from the front surface. The divider includes a base having a bottom side including plurality of second teeth facing the plurality of first teeth of the rail and one or more biasing members engaging the rear surface of the rail to bias the rail in a direction towards the plurality of first teeth. The divider is operable to be pulled in an opposite direction from the biasing force to disengage the first teeth from the second teeth to allow the divider to be translated along the rail.

Abstract: A retail merchandise tray is provided. The retail merchandise tray may have a load bearing member formed from a rail attached to a mounting plate. The mounting plate and rail forming a downward opening notch for mounting to a tray support structure. The tray may have a locating flange that carries a locating pin that engages a tray support structure. The locating pin locating the tray along the tray support structure. The tray may have at least one divider assembly. The divider assembly includes outward extending offset projections that can prevent an adjacent tray from contacting the divider wall.

Abstract: An anti-sweeping hook that includes a display hook for storing retail merchandise. The display hook is substantially straight and having a first end and a second end opposite the first end. A helical coil is disposed about the display hook and extending along a lengthwise portion of the display hook. The helical coil has a first coil end proximate the first end of the display hook. Rotation of the helical coil in a first direction loads the retail merchandise onto the display hook. Rotation of the helical coil in a second direction opposite the first direction removes the retail merchandise from the display hook. A rotating handle is attached to the first end of the display hook and to the first coil end. The rotating handle is configured to determine an extent of rotation for the rotating handle.

Abstract: A retail merchandise tray and display incorporating the same are provided. The display includes a shelf and the tray mounted to the shelf. The tray includes a pair of opposed mounting rails with at least one tray section situated between the first and second mounting rails. A support leg is mounted to the first mounting rail and elevates a back end of the retail merchandise tray relative to a front end.

Abstract: A shelf illumination device that includes a label holder configured to hold a label and also configured for removable attachment to a front-facing end of a retail store shelf. The device includes a light bar having a plurality of light sources positioned along a length of the light bar, and with a handle attached to one end of the light bar. A carrier has a first flat portion that extends for a length at least as long the light bar. The carrier further includes a first projection and a second projection that together define an opening configured to hold the light bar. The carrier is configured for assembly to the label holder. A light-conducting member is sandwiched between the label holder and the carrier. The light-conducting member has an edge configured to receive light from a source and to conduct that light throughout the entire light-conducting member.

Abstract: A deck panel for a retail shelving system is provided. The deck panel includes a panel and a region of strengthening ribbing. The panel has a top surface configured for supporting retail merchandise and a bottom surface. The region of strengthening ribbing includes a plurality of ribs extending outward from the bottom surface of the panel. The bottom surface of the panel has a border region that extends around the region of strengthening ribbing on at least three sides. The deck panel may be part of a shelf which may be part of a shelving system.

Abstract: A security tag holder and a security tag assembly is provided. The security tag holder may have a holder body that defines a security tag holding cavity. First and second band retaining fingers may attached to the holder body on an opposite sides of the security tag holding cavity. The fingers are used to secure the holder to a retention band. The security tag holder may have a contact lever that cooperates with an alarm button of a security tag when the security tag assembly is mounted to a product.

The mounting section is laterally offset from the support section. The support section includes a vertical, top and bottom flange portions. The top and bottom flange portions are vertically spaced and extend from a first side of vertical flange portion in a direction the support section is offset from the mounting section. The transition section of the first bracket offsets the support section of the first bracket towards the second bracket and the transition section of the second bracket offsetting the support section of the second bracket towards the first bracket.

The housing has an opening for a second end of the conductive strap. The conductive strap secures the theft detection device to the product, and activated when the second end of the conductive strap is inserted into the opening. A light sensor, within the housing, senses the amount of light shining on the detection device. A motion sensor, within the housing, senses movement of the detection device. An emitter, within the housing, provides audio signals to a user. A microcontroller, within the housing, is coupled to the light sensor, the motion sensor, and the emitter. The emitter emits an alarm based on data from the light and motion sensors. The emitter emits an alarm when the conductive strap is cut or loosened from the product.

The angled wings extend rearward of a back of the holder body. The holder body includes a rear opening in the back thereof for extension of a push button therethrough. A security tag assembly including the security tag is provided.
