In one example, the lighting unit includes first and second end assemblies adapted to interfit with first and second portions, respectively, of the light fixture. A substrate is mounted between the first and second end assemblies and includes electrically conductive paths that are electrically coupled to the light fixture via at least one of the first and second end assemblies. A plurality of LED units are positioned on the substrate and coupled to the electrically conductive paths of the substrate.
