Abstract: A device for loading and unloading a wheel of a vehicle includes an actuating device operable to move a cable between a lifted wheel position and a lowered wheel position. A support anchored to the wheel is elastically suspended to a supporting rod carried by the cable. A bracket secured to the vehicle has an axially fixed bush, through which the supporting rod moves following actuation of the cable. The rod has a lateral surface provided with projections. The rod and the bush have cam surfaces which come into engagement with each other during a final lifting stage to cause the bush to rotate towards a position in which, following a lowering of the cable, the projections rest on seats on the upper end surface of the bush to discharge the weight of the wheel.
Abstract: A motor vehicle has an engine compartment accommodating a powertrain and at least one strut, which is substantially parallel to an advancing longitudinal axis of the motor vehicle; the motor vehicle has a safety device configured so as to move the powertrain sideways during an impact, towards the side opposite to the one concerned by the impact; the safety device is provided with a beam having a first end, distanced from an end portion of the strut towards the outside of the engine compartment, and a second end fixed to the strut in a position which is horizontally beside the powertrain; the safety device is also provided with a restraining member fixed to the strut and having a protruding portion arranged behind a wall of the beam.
Abstract: A vehicle dashboard has a fixed structure provided with an outer surface, facing a passenger compartment, and a housing having an opening at said outer surface; the dashboard further has a supporting device provided with a frame, which has a seat for supporting a portable electronic device and is movable between an operative position, in the passenger compartment, and a stowed position, in the housing; the dashboard has a blocking device for retaining the frame in the stowed position; the blocking device is activated/deactivated automatically in response to a signal which is indicative of an authorized closing/opening control executed to close/open the lock of at least one of the side doors of the vehicle.

Abstract: A visual locating device for a motor vehicle, comprising a light signal generator coupleable with an antenna of the motor vehicle, and electronic control means responsive to an activation/setting command to control the light signal generator to cause emission of a light signal suitable to enable visually locating said motor vehicle. The electronic control means comprise user-controllable setting means to set a light emission mode of the light signal generator.
Abstract: A motor vehicle has a crosspiece, which frontally delimits an upper opening of the passenger compartment and is covered, towards the passenger compartment, by a finishing wall; the upper opening is suited to be closed by a removable top; the top has a cloth supported by two side longitudinal members and is provided with a front portion which is arranged above a rear projection of the crosspiece, when the top is mounted, with a sealing element arranged between them; the top is provided with at least one flap having an upper end secured to the cloth and a lower end portion, which faces the finishing wall and is fixed with respect to the crosspiece thanks to the locking exerted by at least one releasable fastener.
Abstract: A system for managing operation of a personal electronic mobile smart device when it is on board a motor vehicle; wherein the personal electronic mobile smart device and the motor vehicle are each provided with a Bluetooth-based short-range bidirectional wireless communication system operable to detect the presence of short-range bidirectional wireless communication systems within its communication range and to connect to the short-range bidirectional wireless communication systems detected within its communication range; and wherein the personal electronic mobile smart device is configured to implement a number of user-accessible functions and to automatically reconfigure access to its user-accessible functions when its short-range bidirectional wireless communication system is Bluetooth-connected to the short-range bidirectional wireless communication system of the motor vehicle.
